I heard a chuckle from the closet,
"Yeah thats true," he said finally. My face turns red, and i got dressed. Then i fix my hair and Will walk out of the closet.
"you ready?" he asks. I walked over to him and grabbed his hand,
"mmhm" We both walk out the door toward school. Then we reach the door, and my heart skips a beat. Will looks at me,
"You'll be fine hun" he says as he pulls me by our hands locked together inside. As soon as we walk in All eyes are glued to us, many people whispering. My face turns red and i try to walk faster.

I keep Charlette by my side, and as I look around, I see most of the girls whispering or giving Charlette dirty looks. Hair raises on the back of my neck as I look at the guys, giving Charlette lustfull looks.
"Everyone's looking at us," Charlette whispers, so only I can hear her.
"Well, there are a few not looking. Wait, nevermind, they're looking now," I chuckled, bringing our entertwined hands up to my lips to kiss the back of Charlette's hand.

i smile as he kisses my hand,
"Well at least we know they missed us?" i chuckled. Then we are at him and I's locker. I look at mine and try to remember my combination.Oh yes, 23, 45, 7. got it, and then it unlocked, all my papers falling to the ground,
"Some one's organized" Will said from behind me, i laughed,
"Well when your trying to get to class on time so that you don't have to sit next to someone what else are you supposed to do?" he chuckles
"That person sounds annoying," Will says sarcastically.
"Yeah but i love him," i said over my shoulder.

I drag Charlette over to my locker, which is just a few lockers to the left of hers.
16, 21, 5. I twist open the lock and wince as a textbook falls on my foot.
"Look who's organized," Charlette smirks.
"At least it was just one book, and not tons of papers," I smirk back, and grab everything I need for the day, which isn't much. A few thin binders and a book or two. Nothing compared to some people who have to bend over backwards to carry their stuff.

I walk to class with him and everyone stares at me, then i spot Emma, my old friend before all this. she was always there for me, i wonder what she thought of this whole thing.
"Charlette come here," she whispers obnoxiously. I look up at Will he looks and me and smiles,
"Go 'head," he says i give him the "Oh please no" looks and he motions me forward. I walk over to her and she looks at me.
"Where were you?" she asks, then i see that she spots my ring, she gasps annoyingly.
"Your engaged?!" she says too loud, the whole class snapping their heads and staring at me.
"Umm.." my head starts to spin, "Yeah." i tired to say calmly. The whole class suddenly chattering like mad people. I look at Will and gave him the "I told you so looks". then the bell rang, finally. The whole room got quiet and finally i could focus on something normal, school.

I keep my gaze on Charlette, my love too great to just throw to the side, even for school. It wasn't like I was going to college, I didn't have the grades for it, nor the patience for 4 more years trapped inside.
I tried to focus a few times, then I'd see Charlette move from the corner of my eye and I'd look over at her, and completely lose my concentration.
The entire period was spent with agonizing boredom, lecturing, and staring, mostly me staring at Charlette and the students staring at us, too surprised that we'd even think about getting engaged in Highschool, they probably thought that she was pregnant.

Charlette smiled as everyone stared at them,
"Well Uhh.. That was an interesting lesson," she said aloud, her voice awkward as she giggled. She looked over at William who was staring at her, she looked back at Emma.
"Emma I know you maybe angry bu-"
"I'm not angry at all Charlette!" She yelled. I smiled,
"Mhm," I said quietly, then I tried to ignore her walking away.
"Charlette," She said runnign after me, I was already in the hall with Will in hand. Emma tripped over her own feet, her binder sliding onto her wrists, cutting her skin open. I flinched,
"Will" I cried, my throat began to burn as I stared at the crimson that beaded off of her arm.

Will smiled calmly at Emma.
"Sorry Emma, Charlette has been sick for the past few days, I have to get her to the car for her pills," he lied, and he knew that by the end of this period, everyone would think Charlette was pregnant, but that was better then her killing Emma on the spot and possibly several other students.
He led her outside and leaned her against the wall.
"Take deep breathes Charlette, keep your thirst under control," he breathed, his lips brushing her ear, that was how close he was to her.
"Keep yourself in control," he whispered, kissing her jaw.

I nodded, my fangs brushing up against his skin,
"S-sorry," I mumbled, my throat searing as I looked around. My cold hands lifted to my throat and I closed my eyes, "I can't take this, I have to do something," I whispered to William, slipping from his grip I walked to the forest right by the school, trying to find something to feed on. Will followed right behind me, not saying a word as I searched frantically. Then I heard something, about a mile away, It wasn't fast at all, but it was worth it. I sprinted quickly, my heart racing as I smelled something sweet, human. I stopped automatically, it was kids from school, smoking in the forest. I stood there closing my mouth to hide my fangs as I glared at all of them.
"Damn," I mumbled, trying not to show the need for blood like I was. They turned and looked at me,
"Charlette," The tallest boy smiled, he used to be my friend in middle school, "Long time no see huh?" He said obnoxiously. I nodded grabbing Will hands in frustration.
"So you two getting married?" He asked dryly. I nodded,
"Yeah why?" I asked. all of the group smiled,
"Is it becuase your knocked up?" He asked rudely. My emotions fuming, They didn't know anythign about me nor will. They have no room to say anything, I squeezed Will's hand as anger rose inside me,
"No," I tried to say calmly, it only coming out in a frustrated tone.
"Oh really, becuase that's not what I heard," The first boy laughed, I let go of Will's hand my hands clenching in fists. I lunged at him, making him fall over, my teeth bared aggresively.
"Don't ******** with me," I growled, not caring about my composure anymore.

I kept my eyes on the boys who now walked over to where Charlette and the boy were, on the ground. If they tried anything, they'd be down for the count in mere seconds.
"Charlette, leave him alone, or take enough to knock him out and I'll wipe his memory," I said, but it was only loud enough so that Charlette would hear it, no mortal could hear it.

Charlette stopped a thouight popping in her head,
"These kids would tell, they'd say something," She said back. She shook her head, she had to kill them, she just had to. Then she smiled sickly looking at the boy,
"This'll hurt just a bit," she joked sinking her teeth into his neck. She almost stopped when she heard his cry, but kept going, she was too thursty. The boys around them 'Oo'ing. They thought I was kissing his neck, I chuckled as I pulled away quickly wiping my lips and teeth. He looked at me dazed,
"What the ********.." He mumbed. I chucked even harder,
"Will, will you?" She said getting off of him. Will walked toward him and ust stared, automatically wiping his memory. I smiled as I stared at him, so stupid. the boy stared at the two of us,
"Oh hi Charlette," He said randomly. I looked at Will I nodded to move forward. That was close, extremely close.
