You are not the first to guess that answer, but ultimately that is incorrect.
{{"Behold world my mighty name is Rainbow!" funny nevertheless}}

Second riddle.
When you are young I am old, but when you are old I am still young, I am both fleeting, and creeping. Though it may seem like a stop, I do not, for it is both a curse and a blessing that I always move forward, always changing, yet always repeating.
{{ That might not be worded correctly, but I couldn't think of how to word it, "Shrugs" }}
Third Riddle.
You pay no caution to us, all we do is work and fight, to keep our colonies safe in this leafy abyss, running from the stampeding giants, always ignored, yet sometimes hated. We don't know why you don't pay us any heed, unless in the fleeting second that you crush us. When you do, we see the darkening of the sky, before our eyes, then blackness..
Fourth Riddle. Second Riddle
We are many, yet few. worshiped by some, feared and hated by others, yet with this cycle, we are always revered. But once forgotten, we pass from the worlds memory, never more, unless revived, yet even when revived, we live an existence with no followers, as the others who found us, often ignore us. Who are we?
{{ Yeah Yeah..... I should save room for others.. but I felt like creating a few more riddles...}}

Often with you, always following, your silent companion, your silent guardian, often you wish to be as stealthy and silent as I. Yet darkness brings my demise.

I don't know if a shadow would get snuffed in darkness but I can imagine without light it would disappear for a bit. smile
