Take into consideration what you what, but what others also. Make sure there is enough there for someone to get the idea, and be able to join in. No one line plot and/or story lines. 'We are all after the holy grail, have fun' just doesn't quite cut if folks, sorry.
Besides, if you here, that means your literate, this should be pointless to you!!
✔ Rules should be visible to all those who drop by
Meaning if it's the first post, last post, some post in your thread has to contain the rules pertaining to your roleplay.
All must abide by the ToS of Gaia, or else your rp will be locked until further notice.
No cybering has to be there as well, clearly stated. Even if it's part of the ToS, you have to have it separate. Fail to do so, lock down for you!
✔ Titles for threads should be original
It's easy to get away with titling your thread with your basic story line, 'Holy grail'.
But, come on, get more creative. We like seeing fun and interesting titles, makes us want to look.
Now, don't do 'Holy grail ((PLEASE JOIN!!! WE NEED MEN!!))' You can put the status of your thread, these are acceptable. Accepting, Full, Needs x Girls/Boys X is a number, if you didn't catch that the first time around.
If your doing a one on one, it's alright to have your partners name next to your title.... Yea... XD
✔ Creativity is key
Sure you can do so much with this genre, and use it to your advantage! This is so cool, like you don't know how much the fan girl in me is screaming. Seriously.
Don't do something pretty obvious with this, and if you do, add twists and spice it up, personalize it.
Ex. If your doing the knights of the round table, make it interesting. Like, add secrets and twists to the characters that you wouldn't think they would have. Add a interesting plot line that pushes them to the limit, see if they have what it takes to overcome their latest mission. But, throw girls into the mix, and they just fall on their faces all the time. I know you guys can just like do it. So, I'm not too worried. I believe in you guys.. Don't let me down!

Meaning, someone else has an idea, and has already created it, you have to respect they beat you to the punch. I know it sucks, doesn't it. So, if you created an rp, but don't steal the idea from another roleplayer, but made it your own and such, that would be alright.
But, seriously, if I see two of the same, one has to go for sure.
►► Rest in peace
If your rp dies, respect it. You can attempt to make it again, but if it failed once, most likely going to fail again, just keep it real.
Now, if you created a one on one, and a lot of people want to join, that's alright, but don't have like fourteen threads of the same thing, it get's in people's way and it's a little annoying, mkay.
You can change the title slightly, or just have your names as the title if your the second thread of a one on one, meaning you created one, and someone wanted to join, so you created another one for you two, that can be names, but not everything. Something has to have a title somewhere!

If you believe it's officially dead, don't erase the title and say 'DELETE ME!!!' and then bump it so we can see it. As efficent as that is, people don't want to see it. Just send any mod the link to your rp, and we will gladly delete it for you. We seriously don't bite, you can like, talk to us, crazy I know. o.O
►► Creators of a thread(s)
They create the rules, and are like, the mod there. So, you have to like, listen to them, creepy I know. You have to follow their rules, and if you fail to do so, you most likely won't get in. But like I said earlier, I'm not worried about you guys, I'm sure you've figured it out by now. If not, well then. Good luck.
Nah, I wouldn't leave you hanging like that. Creators can refuse to accept you and ignore you, cause they are all cool like that. Don't go crying to a mod, or hurt anyone's feelings because you didn't read their rules.
►►Lock down
What else could it mean when your locked, you did something wrong. Dun dun dun! But, it's not forever, don't stress. You did something wrong, EPIC FAIL!!! Just kidding XD
See if you can first figure it out by yourself.(( That is, if a mod didn't say anything before he/she locked it.)) Check your thread and see if you missed anything. Reference the rules, that are here, -bing- just to see. And if your just unsure and so frustrated you can't figure it out, pm someone, explain what has happened, if it wasn't the mod that locked it, we will see what happened and tell you why it was. And if it was the mod that locked it, we will just flat out tell you to your face what you did.
Nicely of course. ^_^ Once you understand what happened and why, it will be unlocked for a short period of time for you to fix your mistakes. If you fail to fix them, it will be deleted most likely. I don't wanna be the villain, so don't make me be one... pwease...>:3

Mistakes happen all the time, we are HUMAN, meaning not perfect. But, if you continue to not follow the rules, and is just a meanie head, well, Omg A Name, current owner of this guild will be informed. Well, she will get on top of her all mighty platform and decide what to do with you then. From a probation to a banning.
We don't want that. So, just be good and follow the rules. Cookies are always involved when you do. Mkay, great.

You don't have to sign saying you read the rules, but I will just place your name down here if you've been in this forum.
If your on the green list, that means you haven't done anything wrong, and your just awesome.
If your on the yellow list, that means you slip up here or there, but it's nothing major
If your on the red list, well you really don't give a damn about anything and your just doing your own thing. If I was captain of anything I would break rules on purpose. I would say no cussing but constantly drop theF bomb. Anyone that acusses me of breaking the rules will be banned.
