Remember those Gaia Offers, and how I was an idiot for assuming that Gaia wouldn't put up scams for their own users to buy? They still aren't done wreaking havoc on me and my mom's life.
So, last month we got my necklace from Bella Sole, plus two other necklaces that we didn't order. When we called the company, we apparently had 6 more necklaces on our way. I was pissed. Apparently, when Bella Sole said "$9 for one piece of jewelry", what they meant was "We'll give you a necklace you want for $9, and then, without you knowing it, we'll send you 8 more necklaces that you don't want and charge you $68 for each one."
After yelling at them for 30 minutes, we agreed to send all of the jewelry we had back to Bella Sole, and they'd cancel all of the other jewelry from coming to the house and cancel the payments.
And then today my mom got her credit card bill.
We now have no jewerly, but EIGHT seperate charges for $68, plus the initial $9. So now we apparently owe them $553 for screwing up our lives.
And you know what's the best part? The company closes at 6:00, but their located on the East Coast, meaning that even though its 3:00 here we can't do ANYTHING to cancel the payments until tomorrow.
*rips out hair*
And I STILL don't have the Gaia Cash that was promised to me! And I just checked my "Offer status", and it's not even on their. Apparently I'm not going to be getting anything from Gaia at all.
I'm not going to leave Gaia (because this is where I get to talk to my IRL and online friends), but I'm not going to buy anything from them until they make an official apology to Gaia. And I don't mean the staff writing apologies in their journals, I mean an Announcement that everyone will be notified of, apologizing for not checking out their own offers before having us buy from them.
