Her butt was higher than her head, and her tail swayed back and forth as she readied herself to pounce. The poor little mouse, it was unaware of the danger that had found it. Or was it? Expierence lunged at the mouse with her claws outstretched. They dug into the ground disturbing the dirt and swirling up dust. She grinned, as she peeked in between her paws. Nothing! How could there be nothing? Expierence thought, as she watched her prey skitter up a tree and into a small sized hole. She fell onto her back and laughed at herself. It was obvious that once she moved, her back paws would snap the twig, giving the mouse a second head start. It looked like that was all it needed. Once she was about to give up hunting for the day, Expierence caught sight of a small white and pink bird. What an odd ball too. She'd never seen one like it. Oh well. Another chance at a meal, she thought climbing up the nearest tree skillfully and stalking toward it among the shadows.

Powerful muscles rippled in his back as he flew through the sky, hot on the chase of a hawk. When it dove, he dove, when it turned abruptly, he was right behind it. Finally he managed to grab it's tail, but it turned away and he was left with a paw full of feathers.
A tad irritated, yet amused as well, he landed, then began chuckling as he inspected the tail feathers. They were a rather pretty mix of reds and browns. As he'd seen his Mother do ages ago, he made them, carefully, into a sort of "necklace". It could fall apart at the least bit of wind, but it was pretty.
As he finished his ears perked, the sound of laughter drifting his way. He looked around until he spotted a red lioness, and headed over, holding the feather necklace.

The bird soon got away, as it turned it's tiny head to see her. It's wings flittered fast, too fast Expierence could barely follow them. "Hummingbird, too small for me anyways," she smiled and sat with a sigh. Her laughter was still going, even if it had calmed down slightly. She got a chill, and felt something watching her. Expierence looked over her shoulder and found herself staring at a dark tan colored lion. His wings were a sight, they sure were goregous.
Turning her whole body around to meet him, she caught sight of the feathered necklace in his paws. Her laughter had stopped, as she spoke kindly, but in a sort of sing-song voice, "Salutations. You make that yourself? It's beautiful, and you're very skilled."

As Inferno looked this new lioness over, he offered a charming smile. Then lifted the necklace and offered it to her. "I did. You can have it if you'd like." He fluttered his wings and glided closer to her, standing with one paw out, offering it to her.
She was very different from other females he had seen. Different was always more of an adventure.

She nodded and offered a kind smile back. Expierence watched his wings flutter and him glide toward her. His coloring reminded her of something that was warm, but dangerous. The word was sitting right on the tip of her tongue. She tried remembering, as she reached a paw out to take the necklace. "What type of feathers are these?" Expierence asked curious. She'd seen only a few birds. Mainly because she hadn't flown as much as she liked.
"Oh! That's what I'm forgetting. I'm Expierence, and to whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?"

As he landed closer to her and she took the necklace, her was able to see her features better. Her long hair and accessories were strange to him, but they all looked wonderfully curious. He'd have to ask on that later.
"To my knowledge, they are magpy, blue jay, hawk, and swallows. I enjoy watching birds." He smiled more as she introduced herself. "Beautiful name. I am Inferno. Named so for the flame-like colors and markings on my wings."

Expierence listened to him in interest. Her eyes taking in the coloring and difference of each feather. Each was so elegant and beautiful in its own way, and reminded her of an old saying. 'When different things are mixed together they create so much newfound beauty, the world can't handle it.'
Hearing his name, the lightbulb came on in her head. Expierence's different colored eyes lit up and a grin crossed her maw. "Ah ha! That's what it was! Fire! You reminded me of fire," she felt her cheeks redden at the outburst, but she couldn't help laughing at herself either. "Sorry. Your name, Inferno it suits you well. So does that mean you've got a firey attitude?" Expierence asked good naturedly.

The sudden outburst caught him off guard for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure and ended up laughing with her. The comment caused him to look over her own coloring and features a bit more.
"Yes, It does fit quite well. I named myself." Grins a bit at the question, though more jokingly than serious. "I can be, yes. But it all depends on what's going on."
"You have interesting accessories on, and lovely hair. It's very different compared to any lioness I've met before."

Expierence nodded with a wide smile, "Well you've got an exceptional taste in names," she was serious but still that undertoe of humour never really left. "Yes well, I'm a little more crazy than other lioness too. I guess you could say it's because of how colorful I am. Most lioness I've seen, they seem so stuck up sometimes and serious a lot. They really need to lighten up," Expierence ruffled up her fur and sauntered around him once in a full circle, in a joking manner, as she did her best impression of a lioness. All the while, she tried not to burst out in laughter. "Except one, her name is Koi. She's a fun one," she winked at him then went to lay under the shade of a tree. "What about you?"

Inferno watched in an ammused way as Expierence circled him. He could sense the playfulness, even feel it clearly. "Well thank you. You do as well." Catches the tip of her tail between his teeth in a silly manner, letting go after a moment. "I love to surprise others. These lions and lionesses around here need to get out and just have fun. Just as you said. It doesn't have to be boring around here." Grins at the wink, swatting at her playfully.

She laughed as he caught the tip of her tail and batted at the end of his in return, "Really? Others think my name is well . . . Weird. But then again . . . " Expierence trailed off and shook her hips at him teasingly. "I agree. Boring ol' stuffy lions are no fun at all, and they're excessively lazy! Then again so am I," she grinned and punced a few feet toward him.
