"It's a fun little book, along the lines of "Twilight" though not as intelligent."
I just the the above in a review for a book I was interested in reading. The book in question is "A Great and Terrible Beauty" by Libba Bray. And I was all set to get it when I saw the review and went gonk
First, I didn't know Twilight and intelligent went together.
Second, how can anything be less intelligent than Twilight (other than the fans)?
And third, if you have read this book, what did you think of it?

Maybe the reviewer who wrote that was off her meds at the time?
I'd check it out at the local library if I was feeling brave, but someone saying its not as good as the horror/s**t that is Twilight.....I'm afraid to touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Yeah, but the thing is I've heard that the book is good from people who hate Twilight. ... maybe there's something wrong with that reviewer.

A Great and Terrible Beauty is one of my favorite books
think of it as a victorian romance with magic and murder

Twilight and intelligent. As different as a potato and a clock. However, with potatoes and clocks, you can put them together in some way and it works, but Twilight and intelligent...what the hell?
And I'd read A Great and Terrible Beauty, but I'd doubt I'd make it home to read it if Twitards would point and tell me that it's worse than Twilight.

... I'm really hoping that reviewer is a total Twitard and can't see any book being better than Twifail.

i think my head just exploded...but..it didn't...those two words"twilight" and "intelligent" ....don't belong with each other.......unless the "twilight" is attached to the word "zone"
