"Neither." Annette said simply. She'd use the hyper time dilation ability, slowing time down to and passing through the field easily. In the same motion she moved her hand that held Murasame, thrusting it forward at Fiegns eye level. "I much prefer a head on attack." The time dilation would close as soon as she was safely through each field that was made.

He'd stand still as he was nailed through the right eye. A "THUNK!" could be heard as what should of been an eye hit the ground like a billiard ball and rolled, sparking all the while. "You think you're funny, right? Clever even?" He'd raise Masamune to his eye and begin to force Murasame away the same way two opposing sides of a magnet would. In the end he'd rip himself free and slouch forward a bit before regaining composure. He'd turn to face her, his face blank. His eye socket wouldn't heal, but his skull and brain would. The socket would continue to poor blood and a green-ish goo. Feign, despite the pain, would rip out the rest of the eye, leaving only the socket and the ends of the wires the eye used to be attached to. He'd then grab the wires and pull them out slowly, like pulling a feeding tube out. Four wires in all now laying with chinks of tissue and metal on the ground. "No doubt you think you're a damned genius, right?" Masamune would quickly revert to its normal form and shoot from him as if of its own free will. He'd sigh and try to summon the spheres, though nothing would happen. He'd groan and look away. "On top of the world, right?" He'd each into his pocket and remove something black, soon revealing it to be an eye patch. Two straps over and under his right ear and on lone on over his head, under his hair to cover the right eye's hole with a black pad with Kain's rose emblem on it. "Tell me something, lady...how many more times can you do that? The time-defying thing?" He'd look to her with his single eye, this time not meaning to insult.

Annette couldn't help but stare. She'd actually stabbed through his eye, and he just ripped it out like it was nothing. She was a bit curious about teh metal and she'd ask about it later. Withdrawing Murasame she stood at a loose guard as Feign asked her about teh time manipulation. "Probably once more if I absolutely have to, and not for very long either. I'm being honest when I say I'd very much be pushing my limits." Given everything else she'd done in the fight, including controlling elements, she was a bit worn out as it were.

He'd listen to her and close his eye, a quaint smile forming on his lips. "I see. So then, you're reaching you're peek...well, if your intentions were to humiliate me; to remind me of my place I'd say you've done an outstanding job." He'd slowly walk to Masamune and try to grab it. There was a great deal of obvious force being forced from the sword, and once the tip of his middle finger touched the hilt an ethereal specter would appear and blast him into the other wall with a simple flick of its wrist. "Sadly, I cannot deliver the sword, nor can you. But, I can't pick it up...objective complete in that sense. I'm far from my peek, but I believe you could score another lucky blow...I'd rather not gamble on actually having to kill you, or die my own self." He'd kneel down and reach under his patch to get some blood on his fingers. After doing so he'd draw a transmutation circle on the floor and tap it with two fingers, restoring the room to its previous state save Masamune sticking out of the ground next to the throne. "So Annette...do we part ways and return to our separate duties here, or is this a fight to the death?"

"I was actually asked to try and not kill you." she said, replacing Murasame in it's sheath. She looked and pointed to teh bits of metal and wires that were once his eye. "Mind if I ask why there metal in your eye socket? I get that your a clone of Kain, but I wasn't aware you had any sort of mechanical aspects to you."

"Mankind, whether it likes it or not, has entered into an era where technology governs the world. Should technology betray them, the world will be cast back into a time they can only refer to as dark." He'd dismiss the chunks of flesh and goo into what would seem to be nothingness and pick up what used to be his eye. He'd slowly move to his seat near the throne and place the eye down. "In creating this, I was able to imbue myself with a great deal of power beyond what I was born with. It enhanced my perception greatly, of course, though its primary function was to enhance the signals sent out to my brain and muscle fiber. In doing so, I could do things this body doesn't know how to do them...because it didn't know it didn't know how to do them. In essence, it allowed me to break the laws of physics. I figured that was a grand reward for the small price of one eye, especially since I'm one of the lucky clones with a defect. I believe these eyes...are my third pair. They're...well, it's not even flesh and such. It's prosthetic, something to cure my blindness until it needs to be replaced with a higher version." He'd roll the eye down the table over to her and entwine his fingers, his hands in the air and elbows on the table. He'd lean his hands against his forehead and close his eye. "Take that to him...I can't give you the sword for obvious reasons, but I can allow you that as a token of victory. Now, please leave me...your questions have been answered and victory is yours. I can't imagine further need for conversation."

Annette would take the eye in hand and nod. "I'll inform him about the sword as well." she herself needed to go and rest, so she wasn't looking for any sort of lengthy conversation. She turned and headed out of the room, heading back for Kains room to let him know the outcome of teh fight, though she had a guess that he already knew.
