RIP Walter Cronkite It is a little sad that for all the talk of his voice and all the video clips, they are nearly all soundless with voice overs. I think I'd like to here him report some of the famous news he'd covered, even broken over the years.
For the young and/or overseas, Cronkite was an iconic American reporter, who showed real physical courage in covering WWII and set a standard for TV news anchors in the days before colour and teleprompters. He was known for his integrity and much beloved. he lived an incredibly full life and died at 92.

Frank McCourt Damn. I loved his writing at he always sounded like a fascinating and amazing person. He'll be missed.
