We all know how secretive Kai is. And I don't think I'm the only fan who's speculated on his talents or hobbies besides Beyblading at one point or another. So! This is the place to air your ideas regarding this teen enigma's (or so he'd like to think...?) hidden skills.
Do you think he's a dancer? Or a singer? Can he sculpt? Paint? Make outfits from scratch?
Personally, I can see him playing the drums, and not just because his seiyuu knows how. In Volume 9 of the manga, when he battles Zeo, he manages to dodge one of Cerberus's attacks, which in this case are tied to music. How does he do it?
"You might say I have an ear for music."
He was able to take note of the rising and falling of the 'music', but since Zeo wasn't actually playing a violin, what over 'rising and falling' could there be but the beat? Hence I've been led to think he could be a drummer. 3nodding Of course, guitarist or singer isn't out of the question, either. biggrin
That's just one of the many speculations I've had regarding the guy; let's hear yours!

XDDDD WOW that would be amazing on so many levels.
First thing that I imagined was that he has a green thumb and has a secret garden somewhere.
Mostly for frolicking purposes, obviously.

Panda, what else can I say to that but Frolicking Kai = prancing, dancing Tala. rofl 3nodding
Y'know, having listened for the longest time to Urara Takano as Tachibana Maria, somewhere along the line, I imagined Kai in a school play or something - an unwilling Prince Charming in a school production of "Cinderella", perhaps?
Oh! Oh! Anyone notice that he does a lot of these hand gestures or the like when he tells Dranzer to attack? That just screams "mahou shoujo/shonen" at me, for some reason.
...okay, new images. Kai as Tuxedo Mask... or a detective. biggrin (lol soooo random).

Kai- when he is the CEO of a v. important company. Forced to give a motivational speech.
Or speech in general, really. One that doesn't involve the concept 'you're an idiot I'm fantastic'
I'm sorry Flame I have no idea who or what you're talking about sweatdrop
lol at Kai as tuxedo mask, though.

Kai in a play? Grumpy of the seven dwarves, most def.
I'm glad someone else noticed that about him! It's probably cut out
but after he does his hand gestures he transform into the 10th sailor
scout, Sailor Triangle Desu Desu Kawai-Chan x'D (I'm a terrible person.)
I don't think Kai is capable of giving a speech that isn't "you're an idiot
I'm fantastic" or longer than a paragraphs worth. He's probably stare/glare
them into motivation/submission.

Panda: Urara Takano is Kai's seiyuu (I think everyone knows that... or I'm just that geeky), as she was Tachibana Maria's from Sakura Taisen. The seiyuu in that series do a lot of singing, and Takano-san has a few solo songs - I know she did "Akai Kachuusha", "Ikiteru Yorokobi", and "Kodomo no Yume Wa..." - at least two group songs - "Yume Miteiyou" and "Kiseki no Kane ~So Special Day" - and a few duets - "Stone Monkey" with Kirishima Kanna's seiyuu; "On This Wedding Day" and "Ai Yue Ni" with Yokoyama Chisa.
She sang as Takaba Ryo, too, from "Bakusou Kyoudai Retsu and Gou!" (Let's and Go, lolwhut). In the second season, I believe. She and the other seiyuu for Team Victory performed the closing themes "We Are the VICTORYS" and "Konya wa Eve!". In her role as Tiger from Saber Marionette J to X, she performed "Get the Mind."
...I'm rambling. ^^;
Basically, I just thought it would be fun to imagine Kai singing (David Reale can sing, too, apparently), a talent he keeps hidden from his palz. =P
And, because I'm such a lamebrain and can think of nothing else to do... my contribution to the lolz. I made that vid a couple of months ago, but kept forgetting to put up a link here. I know it doesn't focus primarily on Kai, but there's a snippet from "Kodomo no Yume Wa" towards the end. xd
