You may be wondering what |addiction| is all about, but let me help you out with that. |Addiction| is a role playing guild that enables people like you to publicize your vision, and get others to join in on your story. You may also participate in other activities such as selling role play art or simply talking about a specific role play in the occ subforum. If you are just starting out in the role playing world, you can also observe stories progress and learn your own tricks of the trade that will help you create a topic as good as the veterans of role playing.

This guild is also open to any type of role playing that you can think of (following the TOS of course), such as action, adventure, romance, drama, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, and a slice of life. If you wish to simply role play with one partner, there is a subforum available for that as well.

Whether you're starting out, or highly experienced with role play, this guild may be the cure to your |addiction|.

Please feel free to ask any questions by messaging one of the crew members, and we shall post them here with the answer.

As the captain, I would like to admit that I am a bit of a neat freak; therefore, when posting a new role play topic, ooc chat, or shop, please be sure you follow these guidelines and examples.



Whether you post it all in separate posts, or one single post, it would be nice if you could put the following information in it that so it is clear to joining role players what you want out of their creativity:

|Rules| (To demand a specific behavior in your topic. Guild rules and TOS must be followed, though)

These are merely the main components. If you feel as if you need to add more information to your topic than just the basics, you may. If you're still having trouble, though, please refer to the example below.

Intro or Story: Fool, the one who doesn't understand, tells a legend of a gypsy woman who summoned the moon until dawn. Crying she begged for the day to come, to marry a gypsy man.
"You shall have your man dark skinned woman," said the full moon from the sky. "But in return I want the first son you have with him. For she who sacrifices her son for the sake of not being alone, would have barely loved him."
Moon you want to be a mother, and you can't find a love to make a woman of you. Tell me silver moon, what do you intend to do with a child of the flesh?

From a cinnamon father, a boy was born. White as the back of an ermine with grey eyes instead of olive. Moon's albino boy.
"Damn his appearance! This is not my son! And I will not stand it!" The gypsy man, believing himself dishonored, went to his woman, knife in hand. "Who's son is this?! You have surely lied to me!" And wounded her mortally. Then he went to the woodlands with the child in his arms, and abandoned him there.

And on the nights when there's a full moon, it's because the boy is in a good mood. And if the boy cries, the moon will wane, to make him a cradle.

Life had always been a blur for Keitaro Tsuki, days fading into nights, nights only arising to repeat the cycle. It wasn't that he disliked life, he could just never get a grasp on it. He was an orphan, never knowing his parents, wishing everyday just to see the gentle features he imagined reflected on a woman's face; just to know that he wasn't completely alone. One night, after the world had sped by, never stopping for him, he had a dream. No, not just a dream, a dream to conquer all other dreams, to make them gaze in awe.
He awoke in a different world, the sky was a darker shade, the moon shining with an imperial light, nothing to challenge it as far as the eye could see. His skin seemed to glow in it's brilliant light, the moon itself calling to him. For once in the boys life he saw the true beauty of the moon, her pale face mirroring the soft and beautiful features he'd always imagined. He longed for her embrace, the woman of the moon, for surely he had found his home.

...If he can reach it.

Rules:
RULE 1--Cunning Remark and I are gods in here so you shall listen to us! We can also change anything at any time (yeah, that's right, I've got a mod on my side)!

RULE 2--No god modding. It's stupid and not cool. So just don't do it. GOT IT? Good.

RULE 3--PG 18 only! That means no cybering, that's for noobs. And it also means cussing is allowed, just try not to make that the only vocabulary you speak.

RULE 4--This one is basic. When talking OOC use ((blahblahblah)), and when you're thinking do blahblahblah. Try and use quotes when speaking. Also, PLEASE no txt text talk. Save it for Myspace.

RULE 5--DON'T BE MEAN! It's not nice.

RULE 6--And lastly, obviously romance is allowed. I'm a romantic myself so I'm expecting it!

The guidelines for this is quite simple. I only ask that you put the name of the role play topic that you are OOCing for in the Topic Name bar to erase any confusion. If you simply want to start a regular chat with some friends, make sure to point that out in the name as well.



This isn't important to me, so do what you want. I feel that if you've maintained a shop before and it's been successful then you know what to do. xp
