Hey to everyone. I go by Azi or Emo Elf (Don't ask, long story on that nickname). For those that are interested, I'm a twenty year old Graphic Design major, graduated with an Associates degree in Computer Science. I love art, making websites and illustration (though I'm still learning). I've been roleplaying since middle school, starting with tabletop D&D and cliche' 'pass along the notebook' rp's. From there, I went on to WhiteWolf campaigns like Exaulted and Orpheus, larp's and a strict rp community in Furcadia.

Most of my characters are fantasy based, both medieval and modern. I will be honest, I prefer Early Renaissance circa 1525 as a specific in medieval fantasy, while modern can be a blend of science fiction and fantasy. Most of my characters are female.

To be rather blunt and again honest as I would rather have people know it now rather than later, I have been called elitist in terms of roleplay. This is because I like realism and believability, and to me, writing is another art form and art in itself is something I take seriously. I loathe autohealing. I have no qualms on calling people on autohits, godmodding and powergaming, more so since I have been an administrator for rp communities for years and I have seen the ins and outs of what is and isn't appropriate for rp. I research things, be it injury, illness, poison, metaphysical abilities and races, and I do my best to play my character accordingly to what occurs IC.

IC =/= OOC. This means I will not bring OOC conflict into an IC engagement.

As to hobbies, I'm an artist. I love drawing, whether in a traditional medium or a digital one. I'm also a martial artist with a black belt in American Kenpo and a practitioner in the S.C.A., The Society for Creative Anachronism which is medieval re-enactment. I enjoy duel wielding, archery and heavy list (combat in armor), and all is something that I bring to my writing and roleplay.

And.. yeah. That's pretty much me in a nutshell. I'm pretty easy going to talk to, but... I tend to be nervous around new groups and new people especially in established communities. With that said, I hope I can get to know you all and hope that some interesting stories

Right-- I've been RPing since I've started Gaia, when it was a wee-baby thing in 2003, though I must admit that my earilest works barely qualify as "RP'ing". [/embarrassed] After awhile I took a long break from Gaia and came back on a few different accounts, I think this is the eighth, and in two years I've gone from 1 paragraph length to near Adv.Lit sizes. C: Of course, I'm also I mirror. So if you give me three paragraphs, be prepared for four, maybe five, in return.

If you want the truth, I've never enjoyed posting in guilds either. I once tried to play The Sniper Game in a guild, but I could never remember to check things. It's just so... separated from the rest of the site.

Anyway, we flutter about our thread in the Guild's forum pretty often, if you want to come hang out there. I've ended up using this guild as more of a resource for all the guild's info, instead of making it more of a community. Perhaps if there's enough interest raised about it, and people come in and actually post, I wouldn't mind calling it a community. lol

I've been an RP since I first got my taste of the internet (or atleast that I can remember). You know, Back when I used to spell "you" as "u" (*winces at the though*) and used to use ~'s and *'s to show actions. Then I slowly moved to message boards, then finally to gaia. It has been 6 years since I joined gaia, and more than 6 years roleplaying. My favorite genre? Fantasy <3
Oh... you probably want to know more about me than that huh? XD; Well I'm an artist and have an affinity for cats. My favorite character that I love to draw and RP is my character Rei (yes, she is based off myself), who is a cat girl.
Besides drawing, I love playing video games, reading manga and talking with friends. As of late, you will find me often talking about cosplays or story ideas for RPs or ideas for drawings (and being reminded that I have many gifts I need to finish)
