I took a stab at needle felting a couple of years ago (bad pun alert!) and found it to be really cool and simple to do. I have to get back into it though.

I ordered dyed wool through a supplier but you can make your own if you have a sheep and some vegetable dye. I think it's a relaxing craft that anyone can do. Here's what I made.

Does anyone else do this?

Too cute!!

I really want to try needle felting! I love how all the things you make just seems so delicate and cute.

I think that'll be the next craft I try 3nodding

You buy special needles with tiny barbs on them and you get some felt and just poke it over and over again. It's like sculpting but with the felt. Once you start you'll figure it out, it's not like crochet or knitting. It's intuitive. Here's a site with a couple of videos!
