Yeah, like honestly, I'd probably chose to not practice bending unless I absolutly had too if all benders act as cocky as they're portrayed. I wouldn't want to be that way.
Also, I didn't mean a place to put up links, I meant a place to put up chapters and stuff that members have written and want to post in the guild.
Well, the idea behind the fanfiction thread is to provide links to where your works are already posted - it ends up with the same result either way, right? People get to see your writing, and you get to see other people's.
I dunno. Maybe it's just me, but I find forums for posting stories tend to be cluttery and confusing. xP
In regards to the series: what I don't get is how, in the season two finale, Aang was talking about how he didn't want to be power hungry and choose the Avatar State over love. Um... A) Not reaching your full potential so you're capable of saving the world from a tyrant is kinda more important that romance, B) if aforementioned tryant defeats you in battle, you'll be
dead. Not much romance for dead guys. And C) the Avatar State is a part of who Aang is - refusing that power is like any other character refusing the master their bending. Not only are they trying to deny something that is a major part of them, but they're endangering others in the process (because having the ability to create small earthquakes or tidal waves or explosions tends to put people at risk).
Er... I'm done ranting, now. xD
