Boredom leads into interesting and this case is no different. Checking out Vulnerable by Amy Lane, I found a book we elven women might not mind. Now note that the main character falls for a bad boy type vampire in the start, but this become a competition when a power elf man steps into the picture. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll go on to writing style. With character outside the mainstream, a god and goddess concept floating around, and some yoai drifting somewhere in the mix Ms. Lane's story is only for the open minded. This coupled with her slightly ramble and shaky first book might throw you off the trail of the series, but give her a break shes a first time writer. There a slow opening, then everything starts to move faster as mystery and murder pop up in the plot. Now I'm sure about the rest of you, but I'm personally for the series. Though I want other opinions in the mix. So if you have read or are suddenly planning to read it, remember to drop off back here and give a few words on your thoughts.
Edit: I found out that Ms. Lane is not a first time author. This is actually her third published book. There are also two others I haven't read, that form this series.
