Magdalena felt her face burn, she felt like a total a**. Someone sobbing, another shooting dagger eyes at her, an it was just the beginning of seventh year. Yes, just the beginning. Maggie looked down at the ground, her eyes stinging a bit, but not crying. By far not even close to crying. Trailing their way back up to Anna's face. Why oh why had taken the shortcut. Everything I do just seems to end up badly Maggie thought, her mind was set on making herself feel worse. A total delight, just like A sundae with no ice cream.

Upon hearing the Ravenclaw say that she was going to go look for the cat later, Maggie nodded. Honestly she wanted to help, but afraid that if she did the cat would never come back. That's why i have an Owl Crossed her mind. A clumsy Gryffindor, was quite the first. Magda's face was a mixture of guilt, an apology. Stupid... Stupid STUPID! Her mind was literally smacking her if it got the chance.

Makala rolled her eyes as Seamus admitted only went to the Quidditch games for girls. Anna's comment about taking her down on the Pitch caused a frown on her face, and she made a mental note to train twice as hard once the game with Ravenclaw rolled around. Before she could respond, however, the conversation seemed to move on. She stayed silent, wrinkling her nose slightly at Anna's tounge ring as she stuck out her tounge, but didn't comment on the matter.

Until someone had bumped into Felix, who in turned bumped into Seamus and fallen on his arse, she had kept quiet. She glared up at the girl who'd ran into him as Felix began crying. "Are you blind?" she snapped angril at the Gryffindor. She looked off where the cat had run off, cursing silently to herself. She turned back to Hufflepuff. "Don't be sorry, Felix. It's not your fault at all," she said, trying to comfort him. She shot another glare at Maggie. "Expect a Gryffindor to be the one to cause trouble." Her voice was now laced with venom. Despite the fact this girl was two years older and a good three inches taller, Makala was now determined to strike her down.

"You may glare at me all you wish, since it is my fault. I would like to help fix the problem I created." She retorted to Makala. Magdalena knew she would be angered if someone had just completely walked right into one of her friends, losing something, and just standing there quiet. She was in no mood for House-to-House jeers, as much that she never used them. Turning back to Anna she said. "Honestly If I can help, I think one extra person could be useful." Maggie nodded, hoping not to offend anyone in the process. The Slytherin girl could try all she wanted, but she would get through. Words are words, as a powerful as they may be, they can be ignored.

Magdalena heard her mind yell at her, screaming with anger. You would Magda You just Would! No do you really think they want You Help after you bombard?. Indeed her mind was very, VERY positive. "I sorry about that. We'll find the cat." Maggie said to Felix, the apology true this time. She felt truly bad, not wanting him to cry about something that wasn't his fault.

User Image User Image Felix looked back to the girl that had bumped into him. She asked if he was alright. He wiped his eyes again and nodded. His poor sleeves were soaked with his tears. That was when Seamus acted. He yelled at the poor girl that bumped into him. Then Seamus moved to Felix and yanked him to his feet. Felix gave a yelp with the force Seamus used. His fingers wrapped around Seamus's arms so he wouldn't fall back down instantly.

Then Seamus release Felix. Felix clung to Seamus's arm for a moment more, the boy seemed distracted by the cat enough not to notice. Slowly, he let go of Seamus and stood on his own. "Alright..." Felix whispered to in answer to what Seamus told him. The girl apologized again behind them. Felix half smiled to her, but with the tears still staining his cheeks the effect wasn't as reassuring as he had meant it to be. Then Anna spoke to him. Felix's smile grew a little as he looked to her. She was right, just like Seamus. "Yes..." He whispered to her in agreement. As Anna more or less glared to the girl that had bumped him, he looked back to the girl that jsut stood there.

Felix was surprised when the newest Slytherin girl, Makala, actually comforted him too. He turned his soft smile on her in thanks. He normally didn't get this much reassurance from others. Perhaps it was his new position as seeker that was making him more noticeable. The girl spoke up again. Apologizing again. He nodded and looked to Anna. "Will it really be alright to wait until tomorrow?" He asked her softly. He would accept her word. After all, he had watched Snickers run into the dark to. Sure it had been toward the castle, but the kitten might have gotten inside too.

He couldn't see where the cat had gone through the night, and really it didn't matter much to him anyway. Seamus turned his attention to the group. The newcomer, the Jostler, was a Gryffindor. Not surprising. Addressing Felix, but with his eyes on the girl he nodded. Coldly he said, "I couldn't agree more Anna. It's not smart to wander around the grounds in the dark mindlessly." If the girl had pulled this stunt near the Forbidden Forest say, or the Whomping Willow, she'd be dead.

Makala added her voice to the mix. He wasn't surprised by her willingness to battle with the Gryffindor, although she was a good deal taller, and older. It was something he admired about her, although he was sure that ability would have gotten her in trouble more than once. Then, the Pusher spoke. Adressing her now he spoke, his voice chilly. "I think you've done all the fixing we need for one night. And I'm sure you've noticed the group we have here, more than enough people to find a cat once. Your help isn't necessary. Or wanted."

Felix was quiet, the sobbing seemed to have stopped for now. He was tempted to answer his question, although he was talking to Anna. Of course it can bloody wait. Go back and tell the girl to Accio him home. Poor bugger's been through enough for a night. Getting knocked on his arse and all. But he kept quiet.

"I was expecting that answer." The Seventh Year said, no venom in her tone. This was typical, no one really wished help from the Causer. Magda just wished to crawl under a rock, maybe not come out to that matter. Klutzy as she was, she had more than once been the victim of another fellow Klutz. Maggie looked at the ground as her mind yell with heavy sarcasm. Hmm lets see 3 people at once offended, good job Mags, GOOD JOB!. Her hazel-brown eyes trailed back to the group.

Look who the criminal She said to herself. Maggie felt like a villain, twirling her mustache around as she was planning on how to get rid of the Damsel In Distress, which would be Felix. She didn't push anything, they had a reason to be mad.

The Ravenclaw girl had opened her mouth to start bitching away at the ditzy brunette, but closed it quickly when the Gryffindor girl looked towards her. And there was a hint of sadness and guilt in her face. Great. Another emotional wreck. Just what she needed. Maybe Felix and her could sit together and night, and fondly remember the last time they ******** up. Obviously there would be plenty to talk about. Scowling slightly, she listened as Makala snapped at the new girl, before turning a 180 and comforting Felix. The Gryffindor said something to Makala, although it was nothing Anna cared to appreciate. Something she expected, really. Getting defensive and everything, though she couldn't fully understand why they were all acting like they did. Perhaps she had started it? If she had, she didn't mean to.

"Yes, Felix. It will be alright to wait until tomorrow." she answered, nodding as she did so, and completely blowing off the Gryffindors second offer to help find the kitten. Obviously the girl didn't understand that no meant no, and prying would get you nowhere. The Ravenclaws head tilted slightly as Seamus began to speak, this time his voice cold. She could only expect it, seeing as how Makala had quickly jumped in to beat the Gryffindor down. Made a bit of sense that Seamus would join in. Anna tilted her chin up slightly, unsure of what to make of this situation. "No need to rip her throat out because of an incident," she murmured, though she doubted the statement would be agreed with. "Perhaps we should be heading back inside. I would like to get to sleep, so I can make it through Herbology without bursting into tears." She left it at that, and shoved her hands back into her jacket pockets, wand sticking out at an angle. Without waiting for a response from the others, she brushed past the few that were in front of her and headed towards the castle. If they wanted to bicker all night, that was fine with her. But she was not about to be a part of it.

Seamus didn't respond when the girl told him she'd been expecting his answer. Then why bloody ask at all? He ignored Anna as well, who chided them not to rip out the Gryffindor's throat. Tempting.
"Yes. It's gotten quite late. I'll be turning in as well." Anna slipped past him, heading inside. He nodded to Felix and Makala before heading towards the doors himself. They could follow, or not. It didn't make too much difference. He'd see M in the common room sooner or later. It had been quite the night, and he wanted to make sure he'd be up in time for breakfast. It was the most important meal of the day after all.

Makala's eyes narrowed at the Gryffindor. This one was going to be difficult. Though eventually she'd wear the girl down; it wasn't often she failed. "We don't want your help! You'll just mess things up again, I'm sure," she spat at her after Seamus had put in his comment. "And if you expect the answer to be no, don't ask at all." She nodded her farewell at both Anna and Seamus as they left, and looked to Felix, her tone instantly dropping down to a more friendly level. "You ready to go in? I'm getting a bit tired, but I wouldn't want to leave you here with this ditz." She didn't look back up at Maggie, though she was sure she'd have something to say.

"Alright. Good night then." Maggie replied, clearly ignoring the Slytherin's comments. Ditz, I suppose was one way of looking at it. She nodded goodnight to everyone and turned on her heels. Maggie wasn't in the mood to be dissed by her House Rivals. On the way back she made sure she wasn't going to be bumping into anyone. Feeling quite annoyed, hurt a little too, Maggie tried to make a quick retreat to Gryffindor Tower. Maybe some of her house could tell her it wasn't her fault, but that would be lying wouldn't it?

User Image User Image Felix felt kind of bad for the words Seamus said to the girl that bumped into him. He looked down at the ground so he wouldn't have to see her reaction. But she said she was expecting that answer. He made a mental note to talk to her later, when they were more alone and it wouldn't upset the others more. Anna spoke, saying it was alright. As Felix looked up at her, she was nodding to her own words. He smiled at her. "Alright, Anna..." He said softly. Then she made a comment that the others were being harsh. Felix agreed whole heartedly, but he wouldn't say it. The last thing he wanted was for Seamus or any of the others for that matter, to turn on him.

Then Anna said she was going to bed. She didn't wait. She just went inside and probably to bed. "Good night!" He called after her, but wasn't sure if she heard him. Seamus turned to go in for the night too. Felix reached for him, but missed and ended up just waving instead. "Good night, Seamus..." He called after. He just wanted to make sure the others would be ok. Makala made a mean comment, but turned to Felix shortly after. He flinched half expecting the comments to be mean to him as well. He sighed in relief when they weren't. Felix hesitated a moment more until the girl that hit him had said her good nights and departed too. Felix let out his breath and stepped up beside her. He nodded a soft smile on his lips. "Yeah, let's go..." He told her softly. He took her hand very lightly so she could pull away if she wanted and lead them back into the halls of the castle. They could walk together until the hall divided into the path to Slytherin and the path to Hufflepuff.

Anna was able to hear Felix call good night to her, and she made a quick 180 turn, walking backwards for a few moments while waving towards the Hufflepuff. Bloody lucky she didn't trip over anything in the dark. Just was she needed. To fall over right onto her a** because she had been waving towards someone she doubted she'd ever see again. Still walking backwards, she watched as the Gryffindor girl walked past her quickly, though she was unable to read the girls expression. Shortly after whatsherface walked past, Felix and the younger Slytherin girl went by, with the Hufflepuff dragging Makala behind him. Anna had to beat down the urge to warn the girl not to help Felix look for his ferret, although it was extremely tempting. If the Slytherin girl did, that was her own fault. Just as she was about to turn back around and head in, she paused, looking towards Seamus. He seemed to be the only one left from their little 'group' still outside. "Mind keeping me company until you turn off to the Slytherin dungeon?" she asked after a beat, with the words seeming slightly forced. She couldn't fully understand what had just come out of her mouth, and she half regretted even saying it in the first place.

Makala continued to glare daggers at the Gryffindor as she left, turning back to Felix only once she was out of sight. She made a small jump of surprise to see he had stepped up next to her while she hadn't been paying attention, but made no other movement or comment on it. She nodded as he agreed to go inside, glad to see he was smiling. She'd barely caught his flinch after she'd finished chewing out the other girl. But then he'd grabbed her hand. His grip was light, and she could easily pull away. It was still odd, to say the least. She felt her face heat up slightly as a blush spread across her cheeks.

But she followed him, allowing him to hold her hand. Though she had just met him, she was fairly positive it was completly innocent. Besides, she wasn't one to really care what other people thought, aside from those of importance, of course. And those particular people were most likely in the Slytherin common room or their dormitories by now. She jogged slightly and fell into step with him, so she was next to instead of behind the Hufflepuff boy, staying silent.
