For the red-tinted female, life had begun to calm down again, but she wasn't entirely sure if that was a good thing or not. It'd been far too long since she'd heard from her nephew Zaknafein after his freak out, and she hadn't bothered to look up Aitumn just yet. It seemed kind of intrusive to the Aeri mare, to just barge into their lives like that. She told herself she had done it in the first place to keep Zak from doing any further harm to them, but any further involvement on her end just seemed rude.
The mare heaved a small sigh before dipping her muzzle back down to the sweet grasses of D'ob. Eventually, she told herself, eventually she would make things right with little Aitumn. For now though, she was content to just enjoy the days as they came to her. No one to worry about, everything to do. And right now that meant tasting the wonderful texture of D'ob's treats. Sure she'd lived here for most of her life, but after that trip to the beach she had really begun to miss it.
Flicking her curly tail out behind her, Vierna shifted her gaze to the horizons and the golden texture of the sky. The sun was just begining to come up, and she still wasn't feeling very tired. The best way to rememdy that? How about a nice jog around her beloved home. That's exactly what the mare did, picked up her heavy hooves and started out with a slow plod in the direction she wished to travel, before picking up the pace in a very slow, very bouncy trot. Anything else would be pushing it.
