Different: minor details, some philosphical differences and a few rules. You know the same I can tolerate but the different part is where I'm going to have to call bullshit. Please demonstrate that the details of Satanism and Christianity are just minor. Or that the details of Hellenistic Reconstrustionism and Wicca are just minor. I mean you chose to be a Satanist, so why chose Satanism if the only difference from other religions is minor details?

I was hoping to leave Satanism out of the discussion because of the fact that it is only religion on the left hand path. Satanism has no consequences at all for human actions, no afterlife,(this also includes re-incarnation) and no higer power than ourselves. however, the similarities between Christianity and Wicca are alot closer than people might think.

I'm making a guide to Wicca in the Pagan sub forum. Check out what I have so far. :3

OTO, A'A, Aghoris, Vamachara, Dugpas, and the Temple of Set are religions and organizations classified as Left-Hand. I don't count the Crowley groups or the Devil worshipers on the grounds that they are simply using christian morality and putting effort into undermining it. Never heard of the Temple of Set so i'll have to look into them before judging them. The Religions share the same moral deffinitions of right and wrong, the share similar edicts on the treatment of friends and enemies (with love and understanding) they carry the same socialist priciples. these ideas are also prevalent in other religious philosophies.

Lazarus The Resurected I don't count the Crowley groups or the Devil worshipers on the grounds that they are simply using christian morality and putting effort into undermining it. Never heard of the Temple of Set so i'll have to look into them before judging them. So you lump Buddhists and Hindus Devil Worshipers? These systems are independent of Christianity, in fact both of those religions predate Christianity. This means that Aghoris, Vamachara, and Dugpas has nothing to do with undermining Christian morality. Quote: The Religions share the same moral deffinitions of right and wrong, Please demonstrate this. Quote: the share similar edicts on the treatment of friends and enemies (with love and understanding) they carry the same socialist priciples. Try talking to Astaru about love and understanding, that's Llywen Publishing fluff, the Norse Gods were far from peaceful. The Norse Gods do not like the meek or those that surrender. Not all religions are about love and understanding. Not all religions share the same morality. Christianity and possibly Hare Krishna and a few Buddhist sects promote a similar concept of Love and understanding. Quote: these ideas are also prevalent in other religious philosophies Again pleas prove this I can think of a few exceptions to your statement.

I think different religions are all just looking for a way to get in touch with a higher being.
We all just do it in different ways.

Imitation Stradivarius mazuac There is usually some deity involved in the religion! O: ...unless.....I think I heard about one sect of Buddhism that does not acknowledge Buddha as a god, but they just meditate to get enlightenment or something.... Buddhism doesn't acknowledge the Buddha as a God, nor does Buddhism posit a creator God. I've always seen Buddhism as a philosophy for living rather than a religion...Perhaps unless you are a Theravada Buddhist. It's more orthodox and ritualised.
