So, what exactly is this subforum all about, you're wondering? Well, that's what this nifty little Announcement is here to tell you!

Here, in this subforum, you can learn about Dungeons and Dragons, the legendary role playing game created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson in 1974. You will see a variety of stickies intended to be resources to new and old players alike, such as how to create a character, the basics of play, a list of online resources, a list of in-game terminology, and a special little thread called "Book of the Month"!

This subforum is intended for use with the 3.5 version of Dungeons and Dragons, but in the future 4.0 threads may pop up. Unfortunately, this RPG fan hasn't had the chance to play 4.0 yet.

Of course, you can also create discussion threads about pretty much anything based on D&D. Discuss rules, classes, races, magical items, anything you want, pretty much. Just follow these rules:

1 Your thread must have something to do with Dungeons and Dragons, or it will get moved. If you want to ask a question about how D&D relates to any Forgotten Realms book, you can ask that either in here, or in the Forgotten Realms subforum.

2 Please follow Gaia's TOS. We don't want to have to report you.

3 This should really go without saying, but be nice! Don't hurt other people's feelings, and if you have unintentionally done so, the right thing to do is apologize. If you feel you have been mistreated by a member, PM an active Crew Member (Yagi_Yuki or I, Hane no Kori).

4 I want you all to have fun in here! If you're curious about something pertaining to D&D but don't know who to ask, don't be shy. You can PM me.

5 I, Hane no Kori, am the main mod in this D&D Sub-forum, so what I say goes. {Yuki agreed and encouraged this.}
