Seth~

So what maid Seth different was mostly his eyes. The priest just shook his head and smiled. It was true, he wasn't going to argue about his own eyes. Most Egyptians had dark brown eyes while his were blue. The brunet had been different in ways but had never put much thought into it. He shrugged and gave a small chuckle. The blond said his hair was slightly different too. Well most Egyptian had dark hair of an ebony color. He had medium. The pharaoh's hair was another story though, his hair was multicolored.

"Its understandable. I agree my eyes and hair are a bit different from most Egyptians." He shrugged again. He noticed Jono was being fascinated by his eyes. To be honest, Seth kind of liked that attention.

Seth listened intently on Jono's every words. The golden-hair youth was babbling on about himself and Seth enjoyed it very much. Finally, he was being more open and the priest didn't mind one bit. The conversation was going along so smoothly too.

"I'd agree from that statement of Greece if your hair wasn't blond." Seth ruffled up Jono's hair a bit and smiled. "Most Greeks hair medium brown hair, sorta like mine. Or sometimes dark brown hair."

And if Jono prepared to debate this subject well..., Seth was prepared to back it up with facts. For the young priest had ran into a few Greeks in his life time. During trades, both Greeks and Egyptians were big on that. Greeks were also very friendly and laid back as well so Seth liked when they came across seas to do trades and spread culture. He also made note to take Jono down to see when it happens. The ex-slave would surely love it.

The next question kept the priest quiet for a moment. Where's his family? Well its been years seeing his mother, he hated his father, his uncle passed away and the only family he actually makes contact with was Atem, the pharaoh. His eyes looked up at the ceiling and then shifted over to the wall after his gazed went from the wall to the view of the city. How was he planning to word this...?

"My family, huh..?" Seth finally spoke. "Well the last I seen my mother was when I was a child and a priest in training. After I grew up and moved into the palace that was the last that I saw of her. She didn't want to be part of the palace I suppose. She wanted to live a normal life. Sometimes I can't blame her for that..."

How was Seth going to explain about his dead uncle which he barely knew. He only seen him once as a child. The previous pharaoh was Atem's father which made him uncle of Seth and brother to Seth's father.
He decided to make this brief as possible.

"Priest Akunadin is my father. He's also the brother of Pharaoh Atem's father. I never really liked my father much. His intentions are against mines, so we don't see eye to eye."

He sighed and paused before continuing. He was going to have to brief up Atem's father too. And then prepared to explain Atem, who was the current pharaoh.

"Pharaoh Akunumkanon is my uncle. He's deceased though."

Seth shrugged, this never really bothered him one bit. He never met him in person just seen him from a distance. He also knew his father did not get along with him as well.

"I only seen him once but from afar. I never knew him personally. I also know that my father hates him."

"Pharaoh Atem, the current pharaoh. The one you ran into on your first night here, he is my cousin."

Seth didn't know much of any of his family members. So it was a bit hard for him to explain each and every one of them. He ran a hand through his hair and smiled a bit. To the brunet, his family wasn't a big deal. He never spent any time with them.

"Atem is the son of Akunumkanon, obviously. I just thought I should let you know that tid bit as well. I just know that much about my family. Its not really all that fascinating, despite whatever protest you might have."

Seth chuckled as he fixed his gaze back at Jono. The priest sat back a bit more and went into thought for a bit. Thinking back on Jono's previous statement about some place by the water. That could be a lot of places and now Seth was curious about that. Perhaps he could help Jono a bit on that part.

"You said something about living by the water, if I am correct.."

The brunet was going to try and have the blond explain or describe the place and the surroundings.

"Can you describe anything else to me? Like the surroundings or a familiar object of some sort..?

Seth was all too curious and was eager to help Jono as well as to find out too.

User ImageBing a slave and a lot younger, Jono couldn't know how the old Pharaoh died. "How did the Pharaoh's Father die?" It didn't seem all that prevalent to getting to know the Priest, the blond was just curious.

Seth's family tale left Jono's head spinning. The names were so long and sounded alike, well... the two the brunet had used anyway. What he had gotten was that Seth was the cousin to the Pharaoh, and didn't like his father. The exslave couldn't really say much. say much. He couldn't remember much, but the memories he had of his father weren't all that nice.

The part about the brunet's mother was a bit saddening. The blond couldn't remember anything about his mother. It was something he thought about often. He left the topic go though, not wanting to upset the Priest again. The old slave didn't really want to go into his family either, mainly because he couldn't remember much, if anything, about them.

The golden blond blinked at the other for a moment before nodding slightly. Seth wanted to more details about his home? Jono sat there, legs swinging back and forth ever so slightly. "Yes, there was water... and a nice breeze." Amber eyes drifted closed, picturing the image in his mind.

"Hn... I don't think it was very big, mainly small houses and huts. I think we lived in a small house right by the water.... There was one big stone building... with a statue of some kind of human animal." A part of him wanted to say it was one of many Gods, but the blond wasn't very educated on them.

Reddish-brow eyes opened slowly, the blond tilting his head slightly in thought. And... flowers.... lot's of flowers." Jono blinked, looking back up at the other. "I know, I don't remember much. I'm sorry." He felt bad that his memory was so vague. The blond wished he could give the Priest a full detailed description.

Jono was silent for awhile, thinking of something else to ask. He wondered when Seth was planning on them going to the market. He felt like he should get something for the brunet. He needed to thank him for all he had done. But what to get? Seth had everything he could want. The younger male would just have to keep an eye out for something that seemed like the Priest would want.

Then he remembered something he had been curious about. "Why do you carry around that gold stick?" Jono had been a slave to many rich people who felt the need to flaunt their wealth. The taller was the highest ranking person the blond really knew, but Seth didn't seem to put his power and riches on display; other than the gold arm bands and the pole thing. The exslave had gotten an answer about the arm bands, but not the rod.
