Fully named Al'Ankieranon, Kier agreed to help the human's poor pronunciation shorten it to Kier. Kier's personality is much like that of the male lion, intensely protective and territorial, but gentle enough to let young crawl all over him and tug his ears. He's pretty laid back and doesn't hold too much intrest in what's going on around him, and will simply let things happen, but don't let his generally gentle nature fool you. When angered his wrath is like a force of nature, a violent storm in iteslf. He will purse vengance till the ends of the earth if need be. Thankfully no one has yet inspired his enmity.

Having encountered one of the crew, Emma introduced herself with her unpronouncable alien name. Naturally, they both wanted something a bit easier for the humans to pronounce. The particular crew member she met with was a fan of the Val Kilmer movie, The Saint. The particular color pattern of Emma's fur reminded the crew member of cold fusion, and asked Emma if she would mind bieng called after Dr. Emma Russlell, the scientist in the movie who discoveres cold fusion. Ironically, Emma is actually somewhat close in pronunciation (as close as you can get) to her actual alien name.

Emma Is of an agreeable nature, what some may refer to as a pushover, but really, she's sweet and just wants everyone to be happy. She's a mediator for arguments, and will judge fairly and justly. You will be hard put to find any 'bad' thin she has ever done, as she avoids doing things that just feel wrong to her in her heart. As such, she never lies. Emma has a big heart, but that leaves her vulnerable to others hurtful comments and sarcasm. If something someone says or does hurts her, she tends to hide it.
