All righty guild mates... so here is my problem.
My laptop is not charging. It is plugged in, but at 0% battery life. How in the hell it even got there is beyond me since... I rarely ever use it without the power chord.
Anyways. The system told me to turn off the computer and charge it that way. I've done that for 3+ hours and still it reads the same - 0%.
So... I have never had a laptop before [Yes, I know I am a loser] and I recently got this one. So.... what the heck am I supposed to do?
.__. This has NEVER happened before.

.__. This has NEVER happened before. if you keep your laptop plugged in all the time it drains you lithium ion's battery life.... You might wanna just replace the battery... Don't keep it plugged in all the time biggrin

.__.
Really.
-Is retarded-
-Sighs-
How much would that be... I wonder... to replace.
I might just take it in and ask before I replace anything...
And I have only had mine a month... so do you think it'd drain the battery that quickly?

It could also be that the outlet has no more power.

That happened to my HP after about a year. When I was looking for how to fix it, there were a few pretty complicated things that were supposed to work, but I never tried any of them.
If you've only had it for a month, it sounds like the laptop was a lemon. You might be able to contact Gateway and talk them into getting you a new battery or something.
