I can SWEAR I turn it off and lock it, on full power, but the next day it is dead!

My iTouch was working perfectly the one time while I was playing with an app the button stopped working. I couldn't go back to the main menu. I have to turn it on and off to get to places. Help?

Sync it with iTunes, and click the "Restore" option.
And it will turn back to factory settings.
This applies to any Apple product you sync with iTunes.

Definitely your best options are to either reset or restore the ipod. Granted I have never experienced any of the problems described.

I think mine sucks. It's the small Nano but it won't download all my songs and podcasts on itunes to the ipod, it is so pissing me off...not even funny
