Tawa sat under a large tree panting. She hadn't caught her breath from the mock chase they had given Leto. She lay in the green that surrounded the tree with a whimper.
"What did I do? What did I do to get bit? What did I go wrong?" she moaned placing her head on her paws. Sighing, the green female scanned the wood with her golden eyes hoping that Leto did not follow. But deep inside, she somewhat wanted him to, so he can tell her what she did.

Kiion followed her scent, for the swift femme had already disappeared from his sight. Worry gnawed at him, about Leto, and Tawa, and if this would ruin would had already seemed like a delicate friendship. But the look in Tawa's eyes stuck with him the most. It was a look he wanted to erase from her, and the sudden desire to do so put a wrench into his easy lope. He stumbled, but then continued, determinedly searching for the green female.

Tawa lay her head on her large paws with a sigh. Her golden brown eyes scanned the wood for movement. At the drop of a dime, she would curl closer and seem to vanish. Her heart felt so heavy as it pounded in her chest with fear Kiion or Leto would find her.
She heard paws and by the scent, she knew who was galloping towards her. Her ears flipped back and she scuttled closer to the moss covered roots of the tree that loomed above her. A low moan escaped her, a noise of pain and happiness. Kiion was searching for her, she assumed.
"Thank you," a mummer slipped free from her black lips. She closed her eyes, squeezing out reality from her sight and waited to see if Kiion would find her.

Kiion searched for the mossy green femme, wondering if she was using her pretty fur to blend and hide from view. His nose lifted, catching the soft breeze, catching her earthy scent. But the wind was fickle today, changing directions and swirling the scent around him, doing no good.
His mouth dropped open into a pant as he searched with his bi-colored eyes instead. She had to be close, he felt it in his bones. But he couldn't -see- her. Ears flicking back in frustration, he made a low whimpering noise, a noise somewhere between a soothing beckon, and a tone that clearly meant please.

Kiion was within her sight, she could smell him. The wind was blocked by the large tree where she was hiding, giving thanks to any god or goddess that would care so much as to listen to her for her odd colouring. Kiion did not seem to see her. But when he whimpered, it almost broke her heart for some reason.
"What right do I have to hide?" she hissed to herself. Her ears went back and she almost curled up tighter against the tree, but she did not. he call Kiion was offering begged her to come out. And she could not resist. She did not want to only have he shadow of her alpha as her only friend. Sucking in a deep, calming breath, she snaked out of her hiding hole under the tree.
"I'm right here," she stated falling onto her haunches, "And I am glad you came. But to what end?"
