So I met this really hot, super awesome hippie chick yesterday who plays the drums and she totally wants to jam with me.
I'm way excited. We hung out like all yesterday talking about music and s**t. I'm crushing hard... can't wait to go jam with her. heart
So anyways, do you guys like free style jam sessions or more structured settings?

I've done both and it turns out, everyone feels better and has more fun just freestyling.

Ya, its more fun, but I guess if you are actually trying to do shows and stuff it wouldn't be very productive.
I'm so worried that she is going to put me to shame.

i've honestly just played by myself 95% of the time.
the 5% i was extreamly ******** up, or at church. lol
so i really need to get out. xP

Jamming is waaaay more fun XP
I liked goin in the back room with all the drummers
and we'd all make beats a few seconds apart and just
keep it going, t'was awesome heart

I'm by myself most of the time, but I find when I'm playing with other people just makin stuff up it always seems more progressive. And if the people you play with are better than yourself you'll probably get a little better. :]

Yeah, I like more of a structured jam. kind of like so we know wtf we're doing. But just sitting around for an hour is how we make up new s**t to play. So it goes either way.
