Annalee was still a little overwhelmed with the new responsibilities she had incurred; she had no children of her own. Syd left directions for how to get to the TOR HQ, and that she would find all the answers that she would need, so she made her way there with all due haste the next free morning she had that she was not sorting out the new life she would lead.
Kima only felt joy and anticipation at wondering who she would meet once she got to the headquarters. It was her first time back there since her dad left for battle...it made her sad to think of him, so she would try not to do that so much.

Tiri had found the garden ((yes there is now a garden XD)) and was now in the process of exploring a small grove of trees. She lifted her face to 'look' at the sun and then dropped her gaze back down to stare sightlessly at the moss covered ground. It was spongey under her feet, a perfect seat to enjoy the warm day. She sat, rather ungracefully. Laying on her back she closed her eyes and started to sing softly to herself.
Eamane sat just outside the HQ's back doors watching her daughter carefully explore. She smiled at the song. It was one Gael sang to her every night...though there was a chance Tiri would soon outdo her sisters singing talents.
A tiny brown bird fluttered down from a branch and settled on Tiri's chest, whistling along with her.

Anna thought it would only be fitting to give Kima special treatment today, so she decided to let her show her around the HQ. Kima grinned and began leading the poor woman all over the facility, showing her the places she knew, guessing what purposes the places she did not know were for, until she eventually found the others in the garden. Kima almost did not recognize Tirio, she looked much older than she did the last time she saw her. But her smell...it was the same. With a tear filled smile, she waved, wrenched her hand from Anna's, and ran to see Tiri.

Tiro remained completely oblivious until Kima began to run. At the point Kendal stopped his whistling and began to chirp loudly spiraling up into the sky. Tiri sat up, looking a bit dazed as she whirled her head around.
Eamane looked up with a smile as she saw Kima dash past her. She turned to greet Syd and blinked. That was definately not Syd. She stood up and smiled cautiously "Hello....are you Kima's babysitter?"

Kima tripped and fell into the girl before her. So much for her calm entrance, she thought to herself.
Anna turned to the woman and smiled.
"Kima's babysitter, heavens no. Syd had to go to battle for his country, so I am caring for his children in his stead. I hope he comes home soon, but in the meanwhile I'll do the best job I can." Annalee replied. In her pocket, she held the ring that she found on the dining room table along with a note telling her he'd marry her someday when he came back.

Tiri blinked and fell backwards with a little umph. She pushed at Kima and then brightened as she made contact with one furry ear. "Kima!" she giggled and sat up again. "hello"
Eamane's long ears drooped a little at the mention of battle, war ruined everything. But the smile remained on her lips and her eyes warmed slightly, "well then, welcome to ToR head Quarters. I'm Eamane and" she looked around and smiled at the tangled mess that was Tiri and Kima "the little elf over there is Tirio."

Anna nodded and extended a hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you, Eamane. It's a pleasure to be seeing some of my good friend's old company...hopefully, nothing will become of his visit, the past few trips he has had to take have been like that too." She replied, ending in a with a smile but a somber aftertone.
Kima giggled a little at meeting her old friend again.
"Tiri!" She said as she got herself up. "Sorry 'bout that."
She hoped she did not hurt her friend as she examined herself to see if she was damaged anywhere.

Tiri made the mental switch to english and smiled at her friend "s'alright, I ok" she giggled as well. "how you?" she shifted to sit cross legged and leaned back on her hands basking in the sun.
Eamane took the offered hand gently. "we can hope. My own husband is away at the moment as well...though for more peaceful reasons" she added as an after thought. "anyways...I'm glad he decided to give you the address for head quarters, Tiri would have missed Kima"

Kima nodded and smiled. "I fine." She replied, even though it felt like one of her toes really hurt. She sat down with her feet out to either side, wondering what to say next to her. "What'chu doin'?"
Anna nodded and smiled, looking back on her newly adopted child. What if Syd never came home? She almost immediately brushed that idea off, she would not have any of it. Syd will make it back to them. She had to believe that, for both their sakes.
