Micarreth had been...avoiding the kids. Why? Honestly? he was afraid he was going to eat them. Or something like that. he wasn't too sure yet. But...he couldn't ignore the fact Burryna wanted him to at least see them. Micarreth had attempted to creep into the room where the babies were being kept when he thought they were supposed to be sleeping. Sleeping babies meant all he had to do was look at them. Then he'd not risk...hurting them accidently or something. Carefully Micarreth crossed the room, his steps were silent as he moved, so much had he been practicing he felt confident his steps didn't even make so much as a whisper in passing anymore when he walked normally. As he reached the edge of the crib, he gently reached up to tug the scarf covering his lower face down. His arm blades were currently folded up against his forearms so he had no fears of acidently jabbing anything right now... so then..where were these lumps of flesh he supposedly had fathered? His yellow eyes flickered over the pair and he tilted his head.

The little girl was quite a light sleeper, she was a baby after all. Akorwae never heard the approach of Mica though the closeness of another was what woke her up. Her brother was sleeping in the same crib as her, he was very clinging towards her but there was someone above her. Her rose eyes blinked and the little girl's head turned around and up to look at the male. Something was familiar about this person before her, she reached out her hands towards the pair of amber eyes.

Micarreth tilted his head to look down at the babies in the crib. Weren't they supposed to be in seperate cribs? He glanced about, but only noticed the single in the room. Surely Burryna had the funds to afford two cribs at the least for her spawn. The movement from the crib drew his attention back down, and he saw a pair of rose eyes looking up at him.
"Huh...you got Burrynas eyes.. Well at least you got something good out of this whole being born thing right away." He spoke down to the child. Her hand was up and reaching towards him. What? "What? What do you want?" He asked the baby. Miacrreth lowered his hand into the crib to pinch her small hand between three of his fingers gently.
Movement beside him woke Riknolu from his slumber. Not that he slept any deeper then his sister. His amber eyes blinked a bit and he found himself stareing at the male standing by the crib. Rik laid quiet for a moment...then he kicked his legs in minor agitation. "AHM AMH WAA!" He yelled loudly at the male.

Akorwae knew that sometimes her brother did not share a crib or room with her. But earlier he wouldn't sleep unless he was near her. He was a bother. The large male was speaking to her, that much she knew. There was something about this male, she wanted to see him closer to know what it was about him.
It was then her brother woke up. She blinked as the male touched her hand, there was something familiar about his voice. The kicking of her brother made her squirm. "Uuuupt." Well she got most of the word. The little girl had reached both arms to the male, wanting out of her crib and away from her brother.

Micarreth continued to watch the pair of children. The boy had woken up, to reveal eyes as yellow as his own. Odd... he hadn't been born with yellow eyes, but his kid had. Well... obviously that made him awsome right away...or something. He wasn't quite certain yet. The female was still reaching for him, and Micarreth wrinkled his brows at her softer sounds. "Man... the boy is really loud... He must get that from Burryna..." He muttered while reaching a hand in to slip behind Akorwae's shoulders. "How do you pick these things up..." He grumbled as he reached with his other hand to grasp her by the belly and lift. "These things are...awkward...."
Riknolu silenced at the sound from his sister, and he tilted his head to look over at her. As he watched, the male picked her up, lifting her out of the crib and away from him. His little face squinched up, but he did not begin howling as he could still see his sibling. Rik kicked his feet in quick and energetic bursts while thrashing his arms to either side in a babys fit of effort too sit himslf up.

Her little arms were still reaching out but she noticed the male's eyes drift to her brother. Why wasn't she being paid attention to. "Uuuut." Another attempt at speech and she reached out again. The male had been talking though the words were lost on her ears. A noise of slight happiness escaped her lips. Though she wasn't liking how he was picking her up.

Micarreth looked at the female he was holding awkwardly in his hands...and wrinkled his nose a bit. He wasn't certain he could do this. Kids were so..weird. Strange... he was afraid on some level that he was going to break the female somehow. Then Burryna would be furious at him for ruining her first daughter. "You better grow up right in the head." He spoke to the female as he held her out before him. In the crib, Rik'Nolu made a blurbly 'Bleh' sound following Akor's attempt to speak at him.

Akorwae blinked as she looked at the male holding her. Her little mind could tell he looked familiar, that his face looked like someone she should know. She liked his hair. Her hand reached out to touch the hair that was so similar to her own.

Micarreth couldn't help but lean away from the grasping childs hand. He was certain that if the baby got ahold of his hair she'd rip it out or something. Still, she wan't wailing or crying or anything. "I don't know what she expects me to do with you. Your hardly useful right now." He complained to the girl child. Lowering his eyes, he glanced down at where Rik'nolu was currently fixing him with a squinty eyed look.
"What? You want her back? You think she's yours? Ha!" He scoffed at the babe. "You would have been better off being born a girl like Mas's pair. I can't believe that stupid mage managed to best me in this. Well..no matter..." Micarreth turned his sight back to Akorwae. "Your going to have a good life at least. I am sure Burryna won't want anymore kids now, so you'll be her only daughter. No killing her until I'm ready to move on though. I'm not going back to being a lesser noble. You got that kid?" Micarreth sternly warned the baby before lowering her back into the crib.

The littler girl frowned some when Mica leaned back, far from the reach of her little arms. It was no use but she flailed her arms a little at the hair. The male had made some words at her, but she hadn't understood them at all. He had said quite a few to her, and she looked at him blankly in return. She was moving down now. Her bottom lip started to quiver, she didn't want to get put down. She was about to cry.

Micarreth plunked Akorwae back into the crib next to her brother. he watched as Riknolu turned and flailed a arm at his sister and came close to smacking her. Judgeing by the frown on the bows eyebrows Rik seemed to be terribly unhappy still. Micarreth shifted Akorwae out of easy beating range, as he suspected the boy may take another flail at his sister.
"Your a little monster aren't you? Well, that will serve you well I am sure." He approved of Rik's aggression before turning back at Akorwae's face. "Oh, don't you start bawling now kid." He admonished her while frowning lightly.
"I mean, what am I supposed to do huh? Carry you around on my hip for the day? I don't think so. I have other things to do...or something like that. Tell you what. When you start talking we'll do a bit more together." He lifted his hand and waved it dismissively over the pair.
"Okay, so I've seen you, touched one of you. I think my fatherly obligations are fulfilled. See you in like..a year or two." He bid the pair goodbye before turning on his heel to exit the room. Babies..they were over rated. He hoped that they would get more interesting as they grew older at least. Hmm. Would Burryna be unhappy with him if he asked her to see about making sure this accident did not happen again? As the Patron he really had fulfilled his obligation of breeding now right? All that he needed to do was make certain the kids did not need to be replaced due to inefficency... or something like that.
