The world is in chaos. Fifty years ago the seven darkest wizards ever known had been released from their eternal prison. They have summoned armies of their followers to capture free kingdoms and enforce their rule. Several of the kingdoms have fought the wizards and their mighty armies. They have joined together in not only fighting the darkness, but to also search for the four wizards of light who have been reincarnated to banish the dark wizards. However this story isn’t about their struggle. It is about the mercenaries who struggle to survive in these dark times. They sell their men and their abilities for cash, no matter which side hires them. Some begin to regret their decisions, others wonder if any soldier can be neutral to a war, but there are those who would sell their soul for a bit of coin. Who will they side with? And more importantly for how long?



This is a Fantasy/war RP following mercenaries who have been bought to fight for a certain side in a war between good and evil. However not all of them believe in what they fight for.

Setting:
Kingdoms of light:

Talador

Talador is the leading kingdom in the war against the Dark wizards. It is well known for its magical might and has been the center of the search for the wizards of light. Talador is a kingdom in the far west, it has many plains and a few patches of woods. The diversity of the kingdom is more so than most kingdoms. People of all colors and backgrounds live here.

Janith

Janith is one of the weaker kingdoms in the war against the Dark wizards. Currently it is on the front lines of the war and has been given aid from some of the other kingdoms. Janith is still one of the richest Kingdoms in the world since it was the center of trading. Janith used to be surrounded by woods, but due to the war most of the woods have been cut down. Some farmers have been able to clear some of the land for farming but most of their crops are sent to the soldiers on the front lines.

Hallwell

Hallwell is perhaps the most experienced kingdom in terms of warfare out of all the kingdoms of light. They usually are on bad terms with all of their neighboring kingdoms but they have found a common enemy with the return of the Dark wizards. They have provided everything from infantry to the largest siege weapons in the wars. Hallwell Is also the home to most Mercenary outfits, as their warring nature keeps them from being peaceful for long.

Korin

Korin is the absolute weakest kingdom out of all the kingdoms of light. They don’t have much money and they aren’t experienced in war or magic. However They hold documents that describe the return of the Wizards of light, including descriptions of their possible reincarnate forms. This makes them important to the kingdoms of light but as they are near the front lines it is hard to tell how long they will hold this information.

Calthin.

Calthin is known as the middle of the road kingdom. It provides everything to the war effort, from men to magic, economics and machinery. It is also used for safeguarding any Regular war units that need refitted and resupplied.

Kingdoms of shadow

Lathia
Although not technically a kingdom, nor a city for that matter, Lathia is the former burial site of the ten Dark wizards. Since their resurrection the wizards have created a dark tower on the outskirts of the small town and use it to devise plans and perform certain magic arts.

Talikutha

Talikutha was the most populated kingdom in the entire world, still is by
todays standards, but they have sent almost one quarter of their population to serve in the armies of the Dark wizards. Many of the people who fight don’t know who they fight for. The leaders of this city have become corrupted and they are trying to use the coming of the ten to their advantage.

Shalindor

Shalindor is perhaps the most frightening of the shadow kingdoms. They are very self sufficient and have made many attempts to resurrect the ten dark wizards, who are known as heroic leaders of truth and justice. Now they are the shadow kingdoms lead supplier, from food and machinery to cash and credit.
