Dooood! rofl
What fun these videos were to watch!
While I don't like the use of "ghetto" as an adjective, I can't deny that when it is used in a humorous context like this, there aren't too many words which would make a better fit. xd
I think the two kids actually had a more comical way of presenting the "countdown". They looked a little funny themselves, plus the props, and the camerawork (whether it was shot that way on purpose or not), was hilarious.

I laughed a bit. Though really the more ghetto/lazy names are when parents needlessly combine their first names to come up the name for the baby. Case in point. I know a girl name Paul-Shonda and a dude name Sherleon (sounds like Cher and Leon)

As this was done out of pure comedy which I love. Alot of people dont know that these so called "ghetto names" Are actually muslim names with meaning. like kershanda actually means bright star and Arrianna which is my name means most holy. But I do admit people do create these unique names like "Visa". Thats was a good one. but i love it.

You beat me to the punch! I was also going to mention that many of those names considered "made-up" and/or "silly" and "ghetto" are actually just Muslim names. 3nodding
I agree that there are plenty of names that *are* made-up, silly, and low-class-sounding.
I do believe that the name you give your kids reflects who they may become in life, or who you expect them to become. While I think that parents should be able to name their kids pretty much whatever they want (doesn't have to be a Christian "biblical" name), later on in life your name is the first (and sometimes only) impression someone else has of you. So I wish parents wouldn't name their kids after brand names, or give them names that would seem to impact them negatively.

I dont believe it's a name that will determine what you will become in life. But it is content of character ((What type of person you are)) that will determine that. because I know a wome name latrisha who I admire very dearly. She was always an A+ student all her life and basically a very accomplished woman with a family and owns her own non profit organization company that works with people both young and old with mental problems.
But I do believe your name does give people impressions and also wish people shouldn't give their children these wild names.

Well a while back I think I read a Times or a Newsweek article in which they did a study about these "ghetto" sounding names and how they are sometimes used against people in the world of business. (Thanks to sitcoms like Steve Harvey I reckon)

LOL @ Number 25. "Guuuuuuuuuurrrrll" rofl Sad. But some of those names are really common where I live. That, and Shay. Not hatin' on the name but if you call "Shay" at a bus stop around my house, I guarantee half the women under a certain age will turn around. eek

Disruptive I have seen the first one, but not the second one. Hilarious. I was dying at "Mypresidentsblackmylamboisbluevotedforobamaniqua" And "ABCDE" rofl Actually we will see a rise in children named Obama and such. That's already been noted in Times and Parenting. I'm not really all that shocked all things consider.
