A crash, a tumble, and an oof left Echo sprawled on the floor no memory of what as going on or his past at the moment. He was chasing something, or was it running from it? Either way he now was in a really odd looking place with no sense left in him it seemed. “Bollocks, just bollocks, with my bloody luck, this is hell or an odd since of limbo and I would be stuck sorting out the lives of others for whatever Eternity really means.”

x i I N K

"You're not supposed to disorganize the books Azu..." Ryuunosuke said to his sister with a blank expression as the two of the explored aisle after aisle, his sister, dismantling each shelf by taking out various books that were eye appealing.

"Aw, don't be such a worrywart, Ryuu!" Azumi said in a happy voice as she skipped down the aisle, soon smacking another book out of it's place "You never know when one of these might reveal something knew like a... like a secret passage way!" the little girl exclaimed the theory excitedly, accentuating it with a light clap of her hands and a twirl. "'Sides, not like there's much to do anyways... and papa is off doing work. He wanted us to stay here to 'Stay out of trouble.' "

Ryuu said nothing as he pulled his lime green bandanna up to bury a part of his face in it. He sighed into it as he wandered down the aisle with his younger sister, who quickly took his hand at the sound of a voice. He jolted at the sudden motion and he looked over at his sister with a frown. "....What's wrong?"

"I hear a voice!" She whispered, her eyes widening as she stood still to listen "It's a boy, an' he's got a whole lotta strange words packed in 'im! Maybe it's a monster! A library monster!"

"A... library monster?" Ryuu asked, feeling a bit worried. No way, a monster in the library.

"I'm going to go see!"Azumi declared in a quiet voice and had let go of Ryuu's hand, darting around the corner before her brother could protest. Following the voice, her brother quickly trailing behind, she found the source. It was a rather pretty looking person, about their age with dark long hair, the same colour as Rakuto's. She frowned and pursed her lips as she said aloud "A girl?!"

Lessieal

Rubbing his head, Echo stood, glancing down at the random books that were about before kicking them aside. Was he alone? It felt like he was, only for the quiet to be pierced by a pet peev of his. His ruby eyes moving to lock on the one who asked the horrible question of if he was a girl or not, given a mocking smirk. “Yes, female, see this pretty frock I wear? Don't you think these high heels are just dashing? No, you silly twit, I don't even look anything remotely to a female.” A huff, as he let out a bit of air. Great he was in an odd place, with a daffy girl as his only company. Brushing himself off a bit more he seemed to care less if she came or went. He didn’t even know what he wanted besides to want to know who he was perhaps.

x i I N K
It didn't take long for Ryuunosuke to catch up with his sister as he rounded the corner. She had really thrown him for a loop with her sudden outburst, but to be fair, she was always like that. It was a wonder why he wasn't used to it already. He heard her voice as she cried out 'A GIRL?!' and had come to see what she was talking about. There, amongst a mass of other books seemed to be a rather foul-mouthed female, according to his sister. Well, if it was indeed a girl, she dressed rather boy-ishly. On her clothes, 'she' bore a similar symbol as they did on theirs. He frowned curiously but said nothing.

Azumi's jaw dropped at the 'girl's words and she frowned, shifting over to her brother as she whispered "This girl's got a really boy-ish voice, huh?" in a tone that was unmistakably and purposefully loud. "What a twit anyways?"

Ryuunosuke shrugged. Well, yeah, she did have a boy-ish voice but.... something was kind of off "I think he means 'stupid' or 'moron'." He stated simply before looking back at the she-he.

"Oh. Wait, hey! I'm not a 'silly twit' or whatever you called me! And you look perfectly female!" She protested, puffing her cheeks out in defiance.

Lessieal

“I must be in one of the bloody nine hells.” Echo found himself quite annoyed by the girl before him, crossing his arms some. When another joined them he was at least grateful one knew how to tell what sex was what. “Look love, you don’t have to try to act like something you’re not. It’s so easy to see how much a daff you really can be. It’s okay, I forgive you for not knowing a real man when you see one.” A smirk crossed his face at that, if she was going to try to act like she was good at her insults why not play along. “I could always show you my trouser snake of you don’t believe me.” That should scare off the noisy twit, or so he hoped.

“Now, if you are to be any use at all maybe you can be a dear and answer a few simple questions for me. If they’re too hard for you though I’m sure the gent behind you has more wits about him. We’ll start with . . . and I never thought I would be saying this. Where am I? Why am I here? And why don’t I remember a bloody thing.” He wasn’t happy; if that wasn’t obvious by now the other two had to be blind. Here he was in some strange place, with out knowing anything about it, let alone himself. It was enough to scare the willies out of some of the braver man.

x i I N K
Azumi stared blankly at the boy and once again leaned towards her brother to whisper something to him in a purposefully loud voice "We've got a crazy one here." She told her brother "the poor girl thinks she's a boy." She continued before staring straight at the boy again, placing her hands on her hips. She huffed. "I know a real 'man' when I see one, my brother's one, see? All I see if a girl! With long hair, long lashes and a girly face! You're a girl!"

Clearly, she wasn't about give up her statement.

Ryuunosuke sighed and watched worriedly after his sister. He didn't like the boy, whoever he was. What kind of person talks like that to strangers? Well... to be fair his sister did say things that were rather out of line.

"And as if I'd tell you where we are, you can stay here for all we care. Hmph!" She stated triumphantly. Clearly, knowing the location and such was a pure advantage to her. She smirked before grabbing her brothers hand "Let's go, Ryuu. This meanie clearly doesn't want us here." She said as he began to drag him away.

Ryuu said stood still "He'll get lost in here and die if we don't tell him." He said "Shouldn't we show him?"

Azumi frowned "No way. Did ou listen to him calling me names and stuff! He doesn't deserve our help!"

Lessieal

“Then maybe you’re problem is you never seen a real woman before. I see you have no chest yourself. With my luck only males come here.” Echo’s eyes twinkled, she was a ditz but she had fire that was at least nice about her. “Don’t get your knickers in a twist, either of you. I’m more than capable of taken care of myself, that I am.” He honestly didn’t seem worried although deep down he was probably scared to dead. Turning from them he walked off a bit before finding a nice place to sit and doing so. He studied the shelves wondering if knocking them down would give him the way out. He didn’t need them, especially a girl who couldn’t tell a Tom from a Nancy. The guy didn’t seem so bad, but he didn’t say much either, who knew what may spout if he did.

x i I N K
"With your luck, you came here delusional. It's not like you can remember anything anyways!" Azumi huffed clearly offended. Reaching out, she went for her brother's hand who seemed a bit distracted. She curled her fingers to wrap her hand around his wrist but before she knew it, he was already heading in the other direction, following the boy. "Ryuu?"

Ryuunosuke knew how it felt to feel confused. He was always stoic and showed little to no expression. When he had first arrived, he had been exactly like that, but inside he was scared. For him and his sister. She had been scared too, crying the whole time, but the both got along well with Rakuto so it was okay. Their guardian made it okay. Did that boy have anyone? He followed after him, rounding the corner and then stopping when he stopped "You won't find your way out of this place without us. It's too big. You don't even know where you are. Or who are you are. If you don't come with us you'll die here." He said, plainl, only to feel s harp tug on his shirt.

"Shh, Ryuunosuke. He said he can handle himself, he'll be... he'll be fine."

"No he won't Azu... we got lost here too. We only got out because Ink found us along with Rakuto."

Azu fell silent and she slowly looked over at the boy "I.... I know. But... Maybe Lessy will find him. You know, that new woman that explores here all the time. Maybe she'll find him!"

Ryuu didn't reply and continued to watch the other boy, waiting for a response.

Lessieal

Echo paused, glancing up at the boy slightly surprised. He seemed to hesitate, before standing and brushing himself off. “Well if you needed a guard while you went back to the entrance you should have said so sooner.” He was trying to sound big, useful, failing or not. “You know I think I may just take you up on that offer. One tiny thing if I do though, you get that fiery vixen of yours to not ring me something I’m not.” His eyes stayed on the male smiling a bit before wondering some to the girl. “We have ourselves a deal?” He waited, hoped almost, and there may have even been that slight sign of desperation in his eyes.

Before given her a chance to answer he took to his feet, once more brushing himself off. “Off with us then. All that settled and such makes one a bit peckish, what do you do for food around here anyways.” He seemed better, maybe a bit more cheerful. It was as if a white flagged was waved somewhere in someway. “Names Echo, I at least remember that much.”

Grotesque Panda
Alice had been lurking around behind some Lewis Carrol books and various documents on him.
She could hear other children talking but she really did not want to be rude and interrupt them.
Though she did want to play with them. Perhaps if she asked kindly they would let her join them.
Really they should for it would only be the polite thing to do. Alice nodded to herself, trying to give herself the confidence she needed to ask the other children if she could play with them.
Taking a deep breath, she quietly approached the others.

x i I N K
Ryuunosuke smirked slightly and gave a 'hmph' sound, as he began to adopt an arrogant expression. It wasn't a very pleasant sort of face, but it was the expressive he'd been all day. "The way you make the deal sounds more like I have to your guard since you want me to protect you from my sister. If my sister is capable of giving you a beat down, I don't see why we would need a guard like yourself...." he paused before adopting his neutral mask "... No offense."

Azumi glared at the other boy "Fine. Only for now, just as long as he doesn't say anything dumb again. if he does, we leave him behind." She said, sticking her tongue out at him before glancing to the side at the sound of rustling. Her gaze met that of a blue pair stuck to a girl with long blond hair. She tugged on Ryuunosuke who looked over at the girl as well.

Ryuunosuke said nothing at first, he merely watched as she drew closer.

Azumi watched as well, not as carefully as Ryuunosuke however. She then opened her mouth and said "Hello?"

Lessieal

All Ryu got was a mutter in response, something about everyone trying to get on his bad side. “Only reason she would is because I find it not polite to hit the ladies.” He got a cute shocked look though when Azumi chimed in with him saying dumb things. “What so draught about what I say?" He wanted to add in they were only dumb because she couldn’t comprehend but instead he bit his tongue, grateful for a distraction. “Seems like a lot get lost about here. Anyone ever think of putting up maps with flags saying you are here?” His eyes moved to meet Alice before a smirk crossed his lips and he couldn’t help tease Azumi some. “I was wrong, doesn’t seem a males only den, at least not anymore.” His eyes would give a side glance to Azumi although the flirt was meant towards Alice, it was the fiery one’s reaction he wished to catch.

Grotesque Panda

Alice looked at the two who seemed to be twins. She curtsied, feeling as though this was the poite thing to do.," Hello. My name is Alice. I really would like to play." She smiled nervously and then, her eyes wide as if hit with a sudden thought," Of course, if you are playing or would like me to play I um." Alice bowed her head down now feeling a bit silly. The twins probably weren't playing at all, and why would they want her to play with them even if they were?

x i I N K
Ryuunosuke looked towards the boy first and raised his hand to flick the boy in the forehead "Don't insult my sister... or I'll leave you behind. Anyways, this is a library and that girl isn't lost, in case you didn't hear. She said she wants to plays." He deadpanned before turning towards the girl and the looking at his sister, expecting her to reply for him.

"It's only because you know how to speak pure and utter nonsense. you try to act like an adult but you're nothing but a little kid like the rest of us. My brother is way more mature and cooler than you are any day!" She retorted before looking away "Trying to act all smart and stuff... he's nothing more than an idiot, anyways. Right Ryuu?" She said, muttering her last few phrases to her twin brother. He didn't say anything but she seemed rather satisfied, as if he sent her his reply telepathically.

She looked towards the girl at the point and gave her a wide smile "We can play, but we're heading down to the first floor to see Ink. Then we can play when we're down there. I'm Azumi, by the way! Alice is such a pretty name!" he exclaimed excitedly, jumping up and down as if she had already made a best friend.

"Look, look! isn't she pretty, Ryuu?" She whispered over to her twin.

Ryuu nodded over in Alice's direction "Ryuunosuke... but everyone calls me Ryuu." He said politely in response.

"And you can call me Azu!" She declared before leering over in the dark-haired boy's direction "And you can call that guy 'stupid.'"

Lessieal

"Oh I see how it is, I can get insulted but I can't insult back. Should have figured, guess it goes along with not picking on smaller people.” Echo huffed some crossing his arms finding this place almost too annoying. “Name’s Echo love, pleasure to meet you and all that rubbish, can you just show me the way so I can sod off. I think we all have reached our limits with each other.” He was now feeling impatient and annoyed. Should have known that IQ dropped when the number of people raised and with two always together. A smirk as he joked insultingly about them being love birds or the like since they couldn’t get anything outside of their family with how they reacted. Bad social ability they had, only thing left was to cling to each other.

x i I N K
"Well, to be honest, it's not like you're in much of a position to do insulting. Funny how you think it's smart to go and slander someone who's going to lead you out a place you don't even recognize. So, actually, the smaller one here is you." Ryuunosuke replied thoughtfully "I don't mean to come of as rude but it's not like you're asking for our respect here. You can take our generosity of leading you out here or you rot here like any other person who got lost here. It won't affect us in any way. We can take the girl with us and leave you behind. After all I don't think she'd have come forward is she didn't see us all as a group." He smiled slightly, almost creepily "Anyways, you might think it's funny that I'm defending my sister but at least I have someone on my side while you don't really have anyone. You should treasure what you have while it lasts."

Azu blinked at her brother. he usually didn't talk this much. Maybe he took a liking to the boy? He did after all, have a weird taste in people. he always liked the rowdy ones even though he wasn't one himself. She wrinkled her nose in distaste. But why makes friends with that idiot?

Grotesque Panda
Alice frowned, these people seemed a bit crazy, though she supposed that not everyone was the same and it was to be expected that they were different.
Smiling at Azu she spoke," Will ink play with us also?" Trying to ignore the negativity it seemed like she had given the cold shoulder to Echo.

Lessieal
“Well bollocks, you’re just as firey as your kin here.” Echo was getting sick of this fast to the point of actually tempted to go off and find his own way. “Funny how things bark once one settles, I’ve back down alright, have for awhile. If you want me to show you the difference then just tell me. Bet if I knock enough of these shelves down I’ll find my way out anyways.” Had they won that easily, he didn’t seem to be fighting back that much more as he first had at least. Not caring if the only sensible one ignored him he waited to be so called lead to safety. “Who’s this Ink person?”

x i I N K
"'Course Inky will play!" Azumi declared without giving much other thought to whether they'd be a hindrance or not. She looked over at Ryuunosuke with an expression that said 'Right?' and he only gave a slight nod.

Ryuunosuke laughed lightly at the other boy and smiled again, only this time a bit lighter, reaching out his hand "We are brother and sister after all. Anyways, sorry we got off to a bad start, we tend to pick a lot of fights, so the only thing we have is depending on each other. Like I said, I'm Ryuunosuke. And you are...?" he asked, seemingly a bit less cold now.

The thing about the boy twin was that he had severe trust issues. If it came to it, even if the person was someone he liked in some sort of odd way or fashion, he would challenge them. Challenge them until he got a good idea of what they were like. Just as Azumi knew, Ryuunosuke had a strange choice in friends, he blended in well with the other stoic, rather mean-looking characters that Rakuto considered his 'family'. That was the Karasu Tengu clan. If they were not anywhere else, they were over there. Azumi got along with the out-going ones while Ryuunosuke played favourite with the adults due to his personality. He was also looked up to by younger children for some reason.

Azumi frowned. She still didn't understand why Ryuunosuke would offer his hand to the boy. She didn't like it. Not at all. "Ink is the librarian here. He takes care of everything. And you won't find your way out if you knock everything down. The library will punish you! And besides, we're waaay up high and one of the rooms. You'd never find your way out."

Lessieal

Echo actually seemed to hesitate before reaching his hand out to take Ryu’s pulling him into a hug and patting him on the back if it was done. He was an odd one, it wasn’t a flirt just something friends did, guy friends you didn’t risk getting slapped by the opposite sex after all. Then again the poor guy could have been tricked by males, saying that’s how they greet so they could pretend they got to hug a chick. Letting him go he repeated for what was the third time. “Echo, it seems like that’s what I’m doing with my title as well.”

He glanced over to Azumi as if expecting her to lighten up too, at least she was given out information. “Keep that fiery spirit, some guys like that after all.” Was that an attempt to compliment?

x i I N K
Ryuunosuke was surprised to find himself in a hug and have a pat on the back. When he was let go, he grinned and nodded "Sorry, I miss those sort of things at times." He replied somewhat apologetic and possibly implying that he just ignored the guy whne he introduce himself several times over.

Azumi blinked at the boy before laughing "Whatever you say, and thanks, though I'm not worried about that sort of thing." He said in an overly friendly fashion, as if forgetting that she wasn't getting along well with him. Glancing over at Alice and then at Echo, she gave them a smile "Well, let's get going, it's a long ways a way."

"We need to leave this room and head towards the first staircase, we'll need to go through several other rooms to find all the staircases." Ryuunosuke said before beginning the walk "You might want to stay close and not get lost since we'll be going to different places, who knows where else you'll end up."

Lessieal

“Missed those greets, really must be a large building then, or empty. You two live here I take it?” A twist of the words, Echo knew Ryu meant his name, but it was more painful to take it that way. Following them close he gave questioning looks as they lead. “How can one place take you different places? That makes no sense at all you know.” He wasn’t that curious persay, he just didn’t like the fact there could be silence. Silence gave one time to think, and while in his shoes that lead to fear. A mind is a terrible thing to lose and he seemed to have that misfortune.

“So, it’s Ryo and Umi, short and sweet just how I fancy it.” Nicknames already? Long ones got stuck on his tongues too much, especially the foreign lots. A pause and he actually reached out for Azumi’s hand. If it was given she would get a small peck on top. “That’s the sort of greeting one prefers is it not?”

x i I N K
Ryuunosuke snorted "Of course, not. There really isn't anyone who actually lives here except for ink and two other twins who still have yet to find a home. Our father just left us here so that we wouldn't be home alone. Alice has a home too, we've seen her mom." He said simply "You won't be living here long either. Ink always finds a home for everyone. He works hard for us." He replied and then he paused "The first day here is always scary... for everyone. So... I can imagine it's sort of strange for you. Anyways, this building is kind of weird and nothing does make much sense here. You need to go through certain rooms to get back because all the other ones change. It doesn't make sense now but.... once you're here a bit longer, you'll start getting used to it. A lot of people get lost in here, which is why Ink guides people here most of the time. Us kids find our way pretty easily but there are times we get lost too." he explained before becoming quiet again. His eyes were elsewhere, not in the conversation. He seemed focussed on his surroundings more than anything else.

"Mmyup." Azu replied simply "there are many ways to shorten our names, whatever is easiest, 'guess." She said with a shrug before feeling her hand get taken. Her eyes widened in surprise and she blushed slightly before smiling "Is that how it is? I might think so if I were a fine lady. The Queen, or rather Mariette, I think would prefer it that way since she's royalty. I'm pretty ordinary so... but that's nice." She had only gotten that sort of greeting from Rakuto's old friend, which he said was the 'head of the clan' whatever that meant. He was a dandy sort of young-looking gentleman. Hm. Maybe that's what adults were like. So maybe Echo was kinda adult like too?

Lessieal

Echo glanced to Ryu listening carefully, feeling even more uncomfortable about this place now. “So, it just nicks people?” There was a pause and he glanced down before asking softly as if worried it was rude to say. “Did it nick your memories as well?” Suddenly the owner was someone he wasn’t so in a rush to meet, what if the guy just brainwashed them into some sort of slave labor. The ones he met got off lucky enough to be the ones to roam and find the other people stolen. He was a kid after all and his mind roamed quite far at times. “I guess with you two finding me I owe you one.”

It was Umi’s expression that mad him smile though, lighting up a bit. She was too laid back for it to seem overly dangerous here. Going off on how she wasn’t a lady persay and was just ordinary. “You’ll grow into it.” A quick stick out of the tongue and he moved to put Ryu between them. Was teasing a form of insult? Who knew, but at least he was keeping to his words and not going all out.

x i I N K
Ryuunosuke paused before answering, as if it was a hard question to give a reply to. He didn't even look his way when he gave his response. "Yeah, you could say that. We all come from somewhere, with almost no memories. We don't remember our names, who we were or where we came from. We have a sort of small idea of what we can become but... we sort of lose ourselves into this world." He seemed to bit dazed as he gave his reply, and a bit lost. At this point, he looked over at Echo, as if he read his mind and said "When you meet Ink you'll know you can trust him. The only reason we can live good lives is because of him... otherwise... we'd be lost forever."

Azumi giggled and raised an eyebrow at the other boy before watching him move. She took her brother's hand again and began to swing their arms back in forth "Maybe I will." She said, without a care, letting herself fall back into her careless state.

Lessieal

Echo gave Umi a wink of encouragement that she does just that before nodding to Ryu. “Yeah those are the blots that scare me the most though, seem almost unreal. If he’s the one with all the answers, there is no where else to go.” It was as simple as that, he wasn’t sure what he was missing. He did know he had a feeling of being used to danger a lot and trying to keep on guard. Here though, it made you almost want to relax, and he so wished to give in. ‘That is when you closed your eyes for your coffin.’ Why did that thought come to mind? This Ink had a lot of things to answer for that was for sure, Echo just wished he knew what questions to ask.

x i I N K
Azumi winked back at Echo and had decided at that moment that she wasn't such a bad person after all. they got off to a bad start... which might have been her fault since she sort of started the argument. Oh well, they were getting well now, why worry about it?

Ryuunosuke nodded slowly as he listened, the four of them passing through a door leading into yet another extravagant room. "It is kind of frightening but... I don't know all of the fear since I have Azumi. Most of the people who come here don't have anyone."

Kohgi
Chase: -tries- Q_Q Now....I want some whipped cream...-pokes at Echo- Do you...Have some?

Lessieal
Echo - Are you daft? That stuff has to be refrigerate. I barely manage to keep my sandwiches from getting warm at times. How would I manage to just carry around whip cream? Check the fridge.

Chase: Daft?...I don't know how to handle him Mira -tugs on his sleeve-

Mira: Chase...People don't carry around things that should be cold...usually...

Chase: Ohhh~

Echo- Please for bloody sake tell me there is at least one here that has a decent sense of thought about him or her.

Chase: >:C Now you wait...I k-know when I'm in-insulted.

Echo - Really now? Then this should be interesting. When and where have I insulted you?

Chase: Decent sense of thought about him or her?...I asked a question...And now of all of sudden, you're looking for someone a bit smarter to talk too?...

Mira: Calm down chase, it's not that serious...

Echo- Oh and you think that was directed at you only. So far I've talked to a few and most seem to be silly twits and not much more. If you wish to bundle yourself into it because you think someone should be able to carry around something that needs be kept cold that's you're concern, not mine. *A smirk would cross his face as he leaned up against the nearest wall amused.*

Chase: Or maybe you should be more...Specific. There are less mistakes when people properly express themselves...

Mira: Chase...No...Be nice.

Echo - I'm sorry, is the one with rabbit ears a tad sensitive?

Chase: I'll admit that I'm a bit shy at times, but the only thing sensitive about me is my hearing. You however, seem rather high and mighty.

Echo- Oh, says the one who claims I don't speak properly. When it was obviously a general statement he took offense too. As for shy, so many say that to me, I guess I should be honored I see more than just a pretty shell.

Chase: Touche' I can admit that. But seeing as I was the only one around, why shouldn't I have thought that way? More than just a pretty?...Now you've..Confused....-Freaks out-

Mira! I don't know how to handle this!!

Mira: Chase...Calm down...It's okay.

Echo- *He would end up laughing before pushing off the wall to pat Chase on the back.* It means I managed to see past that shy guard of yours. Just in case you needed a translation in 'proper' English.

Chase: -blush- And...What did you see?

Mira: -Laughs-

Echo- A mere glimmer of what you can be and what may be a half way decent person. Keep going shy though rabbit and you're just another shadow. *With that Echo would offer his hand to the bunny boys.* Name's Echo.

Knowing Milo he would have found a nice comfy spot on one of the shelfs. After removing some of the books some of the larger ones made nice little tubby holes after all. A laugh and a sparkle when he noticed two children. Managing one already, sort of a surprise force thing on him as he felt he related to Echo. Echo on the other hand seemed to want to be as far from Milo as he could get. At the moment he would merely watched the others, trying to see and figure out maybe any differences that he may have had from the story book characters.

That of course would be when Echo arrived a tad huffy and not to happy he moved to the corner to stand with arms crossed. If he had spotted Milo he would have left long ago, but this instead gave the angel a perfect chance to watch his child in action.

Logue

Amir: [nods] I look. [takes the drawing pad, flipping through the pages] ... they are good. You draw them all? [gestures to a picture]

L~Chan

Aleister: (blinks, hasn't had anyone get this interested in his work before aside from Felix, smiles at him) I did. I like to draw.... What do you like to do? I'm curious. (leans in a bit and starts taking in all of Amir's little details)

Amir: I play. [passes it back to him] I take lessons. I, ahh... [gestures awkwardly, trying not to slip into Arabic] ... I do many things.

Echo paused watching the two talk about drawling, remebering his guardien was a fan he just huffed again before walking over. "I think it's all rubbish and a waste of time if you ask me. Doodling you're life away, most artist don't see a penny from their work, it all goes to greedy bastards after they die."

Aleister: Oh? What kind of lessons do you take? (keeps his eyes on Amir as he flips to a clean page in his sketchbook and holds it out, pencil on the page and beginning to sketch lightly)

Amir: [sucks in a breath] English lessons. I learn to talk like you do. [blinks, looks at Echo, mouth sliding into a frown] You are rude.

Aleister: (smile turns into a very hard frown as his hand stops sketching and he looks over at Echo) ......... Felix says that nothing you love is a waste of time... (huffs)

"You're a tad high and mighty you're self to be so forward." Echo smirked some at Amir not a bit insulted by being called rude. The guy was forward and honest, he earned a bit respect. Wasn't as fun as taken on the shyer kids though, seeing those when they go fiery almost heated a flame in Echo's own soul at times. Then the reply from Aleister struck and he felt this may be more fun than he first thought. "Felix sounds like an annoying bugger like my guardian. Ever think you don't need them telling you what to do or not to do? What do you love about drawling anyways? It's just making marks on paper after all. Sometimes good ones, but still mainly marks."

Amir: [face flushes, not being used to being treated in such a way. in his predicament, the words he's been studying so hard fail him, and it takes him a moment to remember what he wants to say] You say sorry.

Aleister: (looks at his sketchbook fondly, still frowning) Art is so beautiful... it expresses the soul. You can tell what someone is feeling simply by what those 'marks' form, it's so amazing... (shakes his head and glares back at Echo) What makes what you think so important? What can you do?

Echo was taken a back slightly by Amir asking for an apology. "For what? Being bloody honest? We're trapped here no memories, tossed to some want to be parents. You ever think we all could have been nicked or something? Hell for all I know we could be aliens or clones. Sides mate, I think you're looking for the word apology." His eyes sparkled towards Aleister's barks before crossing his arms. "Oh I can't remember, but I'm sure I'm smashing in a spot. Not sure why or how, but I'm quick on my feet. As for putting all those touchy feely things on paper, doesn't that leave you a tad too open? I mean others could just come along and crush you in that way. Best be careful, I heard bad stories about people reading journals and getting secrets out that shouldn't have been got if you know what I mean."

Amir: [firmly] No. I looked for 'sorry'. "You say apology" sounds dumb. [frowns, not understanding what Echo's getting at or, for that matter, half of what he's saying, since his English is so different from what he's used to hearing. it's hard to keep up, but he tries.] You make no sense. فأنت مربكة. [and he slips into Arabic, woopwoop] ]

Aleister: (seems like a fire lights behind his eyes as he stares at Echo a while longer, turns his back to him and looks back to Amir, holding his book up again to sketch) You shouldn’t get worked up over him. This is his way of making friends, I think...

Echo actually raised an eyebrow at Amir when he said that apology sounded dumb, in Echo's view it seemed more proper. Leaning in to get closer to the guy when he spoke another language Echo managed more of a smile. "I see, yes, well you would know what sounds rather daffy wouldn't you?" A gentle glance and he sighed leaning back. "Alright then, I apologize for speaking my mind freely, wait that should be I'm sorry for speaking my mind. Terrible of me to slip like that I suppose." It was Aleister's words that seemed to hit the boy hard though, Echo actually stepping back some like he may had been punched in the face. How was he to respond to someone pretty much hitting a hammer on the head. Going silent once more he crossed his arms to go back to observing the two.

Amir: [blinks, peering strangely at Echo. he hasn't met anyone who has been utterly abrasive as a way to make friends, but he knows Yam-Yam, who has a very hard time meeting new people and making friends. therefore, he can't be that mad, all things considered. nodding slowly, he crouches down to get more comfortable] It is hard, right? [looks up at Echo] To meet friends. I... ahh, trouble, I have it too.

Aleister: (smiles softly) Friends are hard to make, and everyone likes to do it in different ways. It's like an artist trying to paint, they want to attract a crowd and how they do it all depends on what they know to do...

Echo blinked glancing to Amir before huffing and looking away some. "He doesn't know what he's yakking about." A cute mutter, if only he could see Milo smiling so bright like the key was just handed to him. Although when Amir started to go soft Echo merely sighed. "People here are too effing trusting, don't you know if you let people see who you are or get to close you're into being set up or hurt. Probably lost all sense with you're memories." He felt when people were harsh and forward with him, at least they were being honest, true. Now the little artist had to go ruin it by blabbing. How did he know anyways? Then he went off on his art stuff again and Echo's eyes narrowed. "I really don't fancy you, you sound too much like that guardian freak of mine."

Amir: [merely shakes his head, resting his elbows on his knees and the lower half of his face in his palms. simply] Lonely is the worst. Even if you are hurt, better than not being anything at all. Right? Enemies means not lonely. Friends means not lonely. It is strange, but it is just how it is. I am sorry you have been lonely.

Aleister: (walks around Amir to get a better look at him while he keeps drawing) Felix says that all artists are alike, and he’s sort of right, so that's not too strange… (smiles up at Echo) You remind me of him, you like to keep people away because you think it’ll keep you safe. Like this boy said, being lonely isn't fun...

P 388-390

Echo muttered something under his voice, before sighing. "The artist is the type to see and tell other's secrets, and the other observer here is lonely. Seems odd, how do you know if lonely is worse than hurt anyways?" He was missing something that much he knew, if only he could remember. He thought he used to have friends at least he hoped he did. It just in this new world it was scary in it's own way. Everyone else seemed to just be adjusting and not be bothered by it. He thought it was like they were brainwash, but he was probably overly paranoid and obviously didn't trust easy. "So did any of you find out why we were from? How to remember or the like at least?"

Amir: ... What are you talking about? [raises a brow at Echo, purely out of confusion] .... oh. You... [points] I see. No, I do not know much. My mind... [gestures to his head] It is blank. [blinks and watches Aleister walk around him]

Aleister: (shakes his head at Echo) No, no. Don't know anything about that. I know I don't belong here, and Felix made that perfectly clear... (smiles and holds his sketchbook out in front of him) Ah, it's done, do you want to see? (hands Amir the book, on the page is a rough but clear enough sketch of Amir)

“Brilliant.” Echo sighed, so these two knew as much or as little as he did. Sighing he thought to the twins for some reason. The two who first found him and seemed to share the style of clothes he wore when he got there. They spoke of the library being huge and full of surprises in ways. He never quite got it till he started to explore alone, and most hopes of finding anything out became fleeing. He supposed maybe a book could share, but there were so many that was like finding a needle in a haystack. It was Aleister’s comment on what Felix spoke that gave him a bit of his light back. “Think I could speak to this . . . Felix? Since he knows we don’t belong here maybe he’s knows quite a bit more as well. Milo goes all chuffed jammy on me muttering stuff about destiny and luck, and who knows what else.”

Amir: Oh. [takes the book, holding it up to admire it] ... looks like me. Also... it looks sad. Or maybe that is just me.

Aleister: You can change it to a smile, if you want. (hands him the pencil and keeps smiling) It's not hard, drawing is fun. (looks up at Echo) Meet Felix? Maybe. I don't know where he's at right now, but if you really want to. I don't think he knows any more than I do though... (scratches his head)

“Better than not.” Echo gave a weak smile before moving to peak over Amir’s shoulder at the art. “Trying to get more to follow in your ways artist?” A smirk and he shrugged some. “I suggest drawling something all by yourself, not changing another’s. It’s shoddy if it’s not all you, I mean that’s what art is right? Expressing yourself not dabbling with another’s work.”

Logue

Amir: You do not have to worry. [hands the book back to Aleister] I did not want to draw on it. It will not change who I am if I change the drawing, so no point.

Aimery: [comes trotting up, looking relieved to have finally found Amir] ... Amir, I told you not to leave without me. [straightens, pushing the back of his little chauffeur hat up a bit with the heel of his hand]

Amir: [smiles mischievously, looking secretly pleased with himself] You did not say 'please'.

Aimery: [tight-lipped, looks as if he is trying not to smile] ... true. Hello, you two. Friends of Amir, I suppose? I'm sorry, but I have been sent by the doctor to retrieve Amir. He will have to play another day. ]

Aleister: (takes a step back and looks up at Aimery in awe, disregarding what he said) I-it's huge, what is it? (looks down at Amir, wide eyed) Is it anything like a Felix? What does it like to do? (flips to a new page in his sketchbook and starts drawing wildly, >3>; strange boy...)

Echo glanced to Amir then to the stranger that dashed over to him. “They try to keep you under close watch do they? You ever have an issue with that you come to me alright?” Was he already trying to be protective of the other children? Only to laugh some at Aleister’s reaction, not sure why but it put him a tad more at ease. “That’s it, if that child goes missing we have a picture to show others of you.” He addressed Aimery, as if warning him not to hurt his new friend. A soft smile as he crossed his arms proud of himself. “Names Echo.” He figured now would be best to get that out there before they all took off. Just in case they wished to ask or look for him later.

Aimery: I... excuse me? [blinks at Aleister; a small smile slips onto his face, and he kneels down in front of Aleister] My name is Aimery Loddington. I am the chauffeur for Doctor Yam-Yam, and I enjoy drinking tea and reading. Who are you? [chuckles softly, amused by Echo] Yes, thank you. It's good to know he has friends who are looking out for him. [ruffles Amir's hair]

Amir: [blinks, eyes widening. after a few moments, his face splits into a wide smile] Yes. Yes, yes! I am Amir, and we are friends. [brings his hands up a bit, both clenched into fists] Echo. My new friend. Aleister, my new friend. Today has been good. ]

L~Chan

Aleister: So it's kind of like a Felix, how interesting... Amir, Aimery and Echo... (licks the corner of his mouth and keeps scribbling, pauses and looks up at him) Oh, yes, I'm Aleister Baudouin, I like to draw. (duh Al)

Felix: (comes running up, leans over and tries to catch his breath, looks at Aleister like he's pissed) Y-you little- why'd you run off like that! What have I told you about doing that?!

Aleister: (shrugs it off) I made new friends today, an Amir and an Echo. It was nicer than being with you for a whole day...

Felix: That doesn't matter! (grabs Aleister's head and ruffles his hair, making the kid squirm, probably hasn't noticed the others around him yet or he would have ran by now =3=; )

“Alright, alright, yes mates, Amir is it? Sheesh, don't have to go all overboard on me." Echo could feel a slight blush crossed his cheeks as he was easily embarrassed at how such a simple thing as his friendship made the boy so happy and excited. When Aleister introduced himself Echo shook his head. “Way to long, we got to find this one a nickname, we do.” Then some other older man approached and with the tude it didn’t take Echo a spilt second to step between him and Aleister. “Back off you codger.” His eyes narrowed as if ready to attack, actually moving to TRY and grab Felix’s hand roughly when he snatched his new friend so fast like. Moving in to take a firm swing, and gasp as Milo had managed to move and catch Echo’s free hand in time.

Milo was there just smiling away, his long pink hair easily having him probably mistaken as a girl. “Now now.” His voice was so soft to boot, so gentle and full of love. “What have I told you about asking first and attacking only if you have too.”

Echo’s eyes widen as he pulled away from Milo roughly but letting go of Felix. “I suggest you let my mate go.”

[ Aimery: [blinkblink. stands and straightens, nodding to each of the other adults] Good day. I am Aimery Loddington. And you are? [his fault: too polite to leave without introductions, even if it might make him late aahhh.]

Amir: [looks equally confused, eyeing both Felix and Milo] Your... parents? [doesn't quite know what to think of Felix, but feels that Milo must be nice] ]

Felix: (stops what he's doing when Echo first comes between them and finally notices the others, freezes up) Um.. I need to be going.

Aleister: (grabs ahold of Felix's shirt and keeps him from running off) This is Felix Baudouin, Echo. He's the guy that buy's my paint. Felix, that's Echo, Amir and Aimery, he likes tea. (looks up at him and smiles like he's proud to have remembered)

Felix: A-ah, yes. So they are. Pleasure to meet all of you... (seems uncomfortable but oh well >:u)

Milo would blink realizing everyone may have been looking at him before given a cute nervous laugh and moving a hand to rub the back of his head. “Sorry, um, Milo, pleasure to meet you.” The goofball hoped they didn’t ask how he seemed to come out of no where. He would feel bad if they thought he was spying on them after all. When Amir asked if he was Echo’s parents Milo seemed to have hearts fly around him. “Only in my dreams, Echo merely sees me as a guardian. Isn’t it a shame? And we look so much alike in ways. He looks like a girl I look like a . . .”

“I do NOT look like a girl you bloody b*****d.” Echo piped in turning red in a rage, he hated when people said he looked female like. He was a guy damn it and a fine good one at that. It was when the older man that took hold of the artist went all shy though the boy got a spark. This was the one who was supposed to be like him? A tad overly shy just the way he liked to play. “I heard you knew something more about us. Why don’t we remember? Where are we from? Who nicked us, and why?”

[ Amir: [stares on at Milo in wonder; his hair is so long and pink, and nothing like anything he's seen so far. without thinking, he reaches out to grab it, but is quickly stopped by Aimery's gentle hand]

Aimery: No, Amir. [pushes his hand back] A pleasure to meet you. [raises a brow at Echo's questions, but says nothing] ]

Felix: (blinks at Echo's questions) W-what? I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about...

Aleister: Beh, I told you he wouldn't know anything. He screamed like a girl when I showed up in his hou- (mouth is covered by Felix)

Felix: Hush, that did not happen at all. (looks back at Echo and shakes his head) I only know that Al doesn't belong here, I can probably guess the same for you guys if... these people aren't your family.. (glances to Aimery and Milo)

Milo chuckled at Echo’s anger but seemed to take it in strides, like anything the kid said was done calmly. His eyes went to question Aimery before given a soft shrug. “I don’t mind, I encourage curiosity in fact.” A soft smile as he kneeled slowly before Amir and Aimery, pulling some of his hair forward for the boy. “It’s the foundation of many a wondrous thing after all.”

Echo looked taken a back though when Felix mentioned all he knew and a bit hurt. “Yeah, you I fancy then. You have the most common sense out of all the other rift raft adults here. I’m staying with you then as well.”

Milo paused glancing to Echo somewhat surprised by his words. “You can’t just go with others without asking.” The man tried not to seem heartbroken, knowing it wasn’t his place to fully say the child had to leave after all. “I mean, you have your own room and such at my place. Is there something you’re missing?” Echo of course ignored his guardian, not about to even discuss with him at all.

Amir: [blinks at Milo's hair, suddenly feeling a bit uncomfortable when it's offered to him. nonetheless, his internal debate as to whether he should touch it or not is broken by Aimery's cough]

Aimery: Forgive me, but it really is time for us to go. We have a lunch date with the doctor, and time is of the essence. It was a pleasure to meet you all. [tips his hat, taking Amir's hand] ]

Felix: Yes, pleasure to meet you two, too... (half waves at them) Ask for you though, (looks back at Echo) I think you're better off with your friend there, I'm too busy to take care of more than one child.. (picks Aleister up) In fact, I should be getting him home before he runs off again...

Aleister: (yawns and rubs his eye, leaning his body on Felix)

Milo chuckled softly at the boy’s shyness, given him a slight wave as he left. He didn’t blame the child, merely smiled and stood. “Don’t be afraid to try new things little one. A young and curious heart is the best thing to keep.” A wink and he nodded his goodbyes to Amiery as well. He actually thankful that Felix didn’t take up Echo on the offer mouthing the words ‘thank you’ to him, he did have a huge soft spot for the child after all. “Yes I hope to see you all around. Don’t mind Echo much, he’s just honest and forward. If he gets out of hand usually if you explain the problem he behaves, a real good kid at heart.”

Echo huffed at Felix telling him no. “I don’t need anyone to take care of me, just figured a different place to stay would be nice.” He frowned waiting for everyone to leave before dashing off trying to lose poor Milo again.

Felix: (softens a little while looking at Echo, sighs) Well you can't live with me.... but if you'd like to visit Aleister I don't have a problem with that. (smiles at them) It was nice meeting you, thank you for keeping an eye on Al.. (turns and leaves, waving at them shortly)

Felix: Ohhh like I could make that thing any worse than it already is! (shoots a glare at Aleister)
Aleister: (freezes, was painting on the walls) o 3o ..........

Lessieal
careful if echo over hears you're mistreating him you may end up with a black eye unless Milo is around.

L~Chan
Felix: Mistreating? Pah! (snorts, sticking his nose back in his book) I let the little monster get away with more than a normal child should be allowed to get away with! If anything I spoil him!
Aleister: You don't let me put glitter on the cats. = 3=
Felix: Because that's not where glitter goes!! stressed

Milo was just walking by humming a song perhaps only he knew of, pausing at the odd site of the wall. He was very silent, as if something may be wrong before tilting his head from one side to the other. A 'hmmm' leaving his lips as he slowly glance towards the boy who was probably slightly covered with paint. "You're Echo's friend aren't you?"

Aleister: (blinks up at Milo) Huh, you know that guy? Who're you? (prods with paintbrush)
Milo merely chuckled at the poke taken the brush as if that was an offer to him, moving with some of the paints to another wall to start on it. "I'm his guardian, he refuse to call me parent but maybe in time right?" In truth Echo probably calls Milo a roommate at most but the man smiled and took most things with kindness. "You do wonderful work; I hope you don't mind me adding some of my own nearby? This place needed something to brighten it's atmosphere a bit."
Aleister: Guardian eh? So you're like a Felix... (scratches his head and smiles) Yeah! Go ahead if you want; so you like to draw too?
“Sometimes I felt it was the only way others understood me.” Milo smiled politely before starting to paint a bit wildly at first; his base always came from his wild instincts. “It’s one of the few things about me others got.” A light chuckle as he glanced back to the boy. “Creativity is a gift that is sometimes hard to express, not everyone appreciates it.” There was a slight sparkle in his eyes as if finished a simple drawling of Echo in a dress a smirk on his face. He had a bit of a cruel streak as well it seemed, but he always thought Echo needed to learn to loosen up.
Aleister: (crosses his arms and nods) Yep, yep! See, you get it. Echo, he doesn't get it. (shakes head) I like you, I think.(leans up against Milo and watches him draw, pleased)
Milo laughed some as well at being liked. “I’m glad, I am often thought of as crazy by others.” He looked over the painting before adding some shine here and there. He know Echo wouldn’t be too pleased when he finally saw it but it was a life lesion in Milo’s eyes. “I wish I could figure out Echo more myself. He makes me worry for him, not in away that he may do something bad, every human does good and bad. More in the way that he doesn’t seem to be handling things the best way emotionally at times, as if he keeps hidden away behind his harsh ways and there is nothing I can do.” A smirk and he glanced back to Ales again. “He looks mighty fine in a dress though if my painting is correct.” Another light laugh and he would actually lean back to lay on the floor and look up at it.
Aleister: Eh well you know, people are gunna be the way they are. Echo just acts like that cause he doesn't know any other way to. (snerks, admiring the picture Milo drew. holds his fingers up in a square and looks at the image through them) But he does look real good, such a... pft, pretty girl.
