When D had finally come up to Petalburg City, it seemed so lush and had an invigorating sense, with several small ponds at the end which his eyes first caught glimpse of. As he took a few steps, he had seen the Petalburg City Gym. D knew that he still needed to obtain 4 more Badges to obtain the ability to challenge Norman to a battle, as he had seen Wally standing at the front with his parents. Hearing the commotion, as his parents had brought D into the entire debate of whether Wally should or should not have a Pokemon, with a Gym Leader's approval, Wally seemed to have the confidence to catch almost any Pokemon that he wanted, remembering of the Ralts that he spotted in the grass of Route 102. When Wally had told D about the Pokemon he had wanted, D quickly showed him his own two Ralts to make sure whether or not those were the Pokemon that he had his eye on. Luckily, they were not, as D agreed to take him back into Route 102 to catch Ralts. Suprisingly, as soon as the two of them had walked into the grass, the Ralts jumped into the air, happy and joyous to see Wally, but with the Pokeball in his hand, knew that this meeting was not like the others. With the lended Zigzagoon, Wally, under D's instructions, used Tackle, inflicting a good deal of damage. Then, Wally started to hesitate and second doubt himself, while D was able to keep Wally calm, and told him to use the Pokeball, which Wally had listened and followed through with. As Wally waited to see if the Ralts was caught, a final stop of the moving Pokeball confirmed the capture of Wally's first Pokemon. Once they had caught the Pokemon, D brought Wally back to the Gym entrance, where he had met Norman, who thanked him for helping out Wally, who had been quite sick lately, and recommended for him to befriend a Pokemon to hopefully make him feel better, which it had indeed. Once D and Norman's talk of Wally and the Pokemon Gyms had come to a close, Wally and D went to the Pokemon Center to heal their Pokemon. Wally went back to his home, and his parents thanked D. D was quite happy to help out, and was now ready to move onto Route 104.

Chris came to Pettleburg City and immediately went to the Pokemon Center. Once he got out he saw a kid being handed a pokeball. Chris walked over to the green haired boy and over heard some conversation "Now take this and find a pokemon. You'll need one to start training" The man told the kid. "You!" The man pointed at Chris "Me?" Chris asked "Yes you are a skilled trainer yes?" The man asked "Um, sure I guess" "Excellent" the man said "this is my apprentice Wally he's new to this and needs a pokemon to start and I'm letting him borrow one of mine. Now Wally follow this young man he'll help you." Wally nodded and Chris started walking over to route 102. "Ill keep an eye on you" Chris said "Good cause I want to do this by myself" Wally said "Alright" Chris replied. Wally was wondering through the grass and then a Ralts appeared. "Go zigzagoon" Wally shouted. The zigzagoon came out of the pokeball "Use tackle" Wally said and the zigzagoon tackle the walts and it fell. Wally threw a pokeball at the Ralts and it was caught "Well thank you for watching out for me" Wally said. "No problem" Chris said "Let's get you back" Chris guided Wally back to Petalburg and to his master. "Here he is safe and sound" Chris said "Thank you" The man said "Wally what did you catch?" THe man asked Wally "A Ralts" Wally replied "Sir" "Wonderful now you can start pokemon training!"

    _ [ Pathetic Wally... ] Finally, a city! I’ve been to Petalburg City before however. My maid knew the gym leader almost too well. Which, makes me wonder now that I’m grown up, what was really going on, but enough about that. The city was splendid, however, before I could get too comfortable I realized that a pail boy was talking to the gym leader. Probably about something unimportant but it was probably in my best interest to be nosey anyways. After listening in, I realized the gym leader was merely telling him to capture a Pokémon. The boy nodded to him and took two Poke-Balls, one probably contained a Pokémon within it. “Hmm, I wonder what’s going on.” After watching the boy walk to Route 102, I realized that he might be in danger if that girl challenges him to a battle. After all, he did look way too frail and weak to handle her and her sad dancing. So, I followed him. It didn’t take too long before he noticed my ninja-like following skills. “W-Who are you? Please don’t hurt me… I don’t have anything worth stealing.” I noticed the boy quickly hide the Poke-Ball he had been holding behind his back. “I-I’m not a bad guy! I’m a Pokémon trainer! So, what are you doing out here?” I couldn’t help but feel curious as to the boy’s problem. “I’m Wally. I’m looking for a Pokémon so that I can become a trainer. Norman, the fifth gym leader, decided to help me out by giving me a Pokémon to battle with.” Wally turned around before I even had a chance to reply and started walking again. “H-Hey, where are you going!? I can help you know! After all, I am a legendary trainer in the making.” So I lied, not a big deal right? The boy smiled to me and shrugged. “S-Sure you could help me I guess. Although I might need more help then you’d expect.” before I could answer him a Ralts walked into our path. “Oh golly. Go Zigzagoon, use your tackle attack!” The Zigzagoon leapt from its poke-Ball and tackled the Ralts, causing it to fall to the ground. “W-What do I do now? It’s hurt!” I let out a sigh and face-palmed in the most unpleasant way ever. “Oh my gosh, really? You’re supposed to throw a Poke-Ball at it!” Wally nodded and launched a Poke-ball in a weak manner. After waiting for a moment, the Ralts was caught! “Hey, I did it. Now I need to go back to Norman and return his Pokémon. Will you come with me?” I was reluctant for a moment, he seemed to be almost too pathetic but in a way I couldn’t turn him down. He seemed to sad to be let down. “S-Sure, I guess I could.” Wally smiled and the two of us headed back to Petalburg City. After debating for a moment whether or not Wally would actually be a good trainer, we stumbled upon Norman who was walking with his Vigoroth. “Oh Norman! Look here, Wally caught a Pokémon!” Norman turned to the both of us and let out a smile. I’ll be honest, he was almost too cute to handle, though he wasn’t cuter than Professor Birch. “You did Wally? You caught your Pokémon!? Amazing! Also, hey Olbert, what are you doing here? Where’s Tammy your maid?” I was a bit bugged that the first thing he would ask is where she is. I mean honestly, how rude can he be!? “Um, she’s probably back in Twinleaf town. Like I’m supposed to know!? You should be asking about me instead.” Before I could continue on my rant, Wally walked up to Norman and handed back the Zigzagoon. “I don’t know how I can ever repay you. Maybe next time we meet I could take you on with my newly caught Pokémon?” Norman nodded and with that, Wally left leaving me there with Norman. “S-Sorry Olbert! I’m so used to seeing Tammy with you that it’s kind of weird seeing you on your own.” That got me wondering again, what he actually did with my maid when they both forced me to go to the Ice Cream shop. “Do you like her or something?” I could see in Norman’s face that he was turning red. He definitely wasn’t prepared for that question. “W-Well, I need to go battle a trainer, he came all the way from P-Pallet and I don’t want to disappoint. B-Bye for now.” With that, Norman fled into the gym without ever giving me an answer. Well, whatever, I’m sure I knew the answer anyways, however, it was time for me to get going as well. Route 104. Kind of exciting!

Victoria walked into Petalburg City, her glossy, long black hair tied up, into a single knot. "I hate this heat" She said to Allistir her partner, who looked totally zen. "Ugh" she groaned. Looking at her watch, Victoria saw that she had about half, and hour untill her meet up time with her other employers. "Im going to take my pokemon to the center, lets meet up here in ten alright?" She didint wait for a reply, as she walked off.
