The first pokemon to go against torchic was a Zigzagoon. Victoria wasint worried, her pokemon has defeated this pokemon before.
"Torchic go!" she shouted, as her pokemon was off, it met it head to head, and Torchic was taunting it, going back, and forth, and so on, trying to confuse the pokemon, on what it was doing. "Use scratch!" She said, and her Pokemon talons began to glow, as it slashed at the small pokemon, over, and over, untill it passed out. Torchic was the victor. "Good as always" she said, as another pokemon came to investigate, and then attacked. Bringing on yet, another battle.

Poochyena was the second pokemon to attack, "Torchic use focus energy" While Torchic's body swirled with light, the Poochyena came barreling foreword, barking, and yapping. Victoria read that focus energy powered the pokemon's attack moves. So using this, the battle could be over sooner, and she and, her pokemon could battle more, to grow stronger. When the Focus energy was complete, Torchic seemed to have a feint glow. "Use scratch!" She said, as her pokemon darted foreword, and before the Poochyena could use tackle, Torchic hit it once, knocking it out with ease. This move was something to consider, using later in its time. It was strong, and helped them greatly.
Turning around from her previous two battles, she took a look at her partner, to see how he was fairing off

As she was looking at her partner, a wild pokemon had slam1med into her torchic. Turning around in time to make sure, that her pokemon didn't get beat up more, Victoria shouted out more commands. This place was filled with pokemon that loved to battle..perfect. She thought.

The pokemon that came up on the Pokedex, was a Ralts. This pokemon was a Psychic type. Physically it looked like a weak, and timid Pokemon, but the way that it was carrying itself against torchic was a huge thing. Victoria has never really been one of those crazy people, who were die hard Pokemon lovers, but sense she received her very own, victoria could relate somewhat. This ralts just called out to her, knowing it was going to cause problems, she just could not resist. She was going to catch this pokemon.
"Torchic! Don't knock it out completely, just weaken it." Victoria ordered, the torchic took off, running and, chirping. It got close untill the Ralts eyes began to glow blue, and Torchic was suddenly off the ground. Victoria could only watch. Moving its arms up, and then down quickly, the small fire bird was slammed into the ground. "Get up! Try going left to right" She said, knowing the pokemon was not that strong, and would need a steady lock to get the torchic again . Victoria was not going to let that happen. Her torchic ran back, and forth. Until it was upon the ralts, trying to back away, it was to slow. The torchic scratched at it, and the ralths was down, and weakened. Reaching inside her bag, she pulled out a pokeball, throwing it, the wild ralts went inside the ball..it clicked 4 times, and was finally caught. Victoria was as happy as can be, but hid her smile. Picking up the ball, she shoved it in her bag. Her torchic looked for more pokemon to battle.

It was another seedot. Torchic could handle this easily, the pokemon came stepping forword, used tackle, and missed by a long shot, as the Torchic stepped to the side, using scratch it knocked it out. "Hes getting really strong" she thought as her pokemon scouted for more, pokemon to battle. +30 exp

Victoria let out a sigh, it was yet, another Seedot. It must have been on the same branch, as the one before. "You know what to do" she spoke, not really enthused. Torchic decided to play a little, standing inside, swinging with scratch, as the seedot's slow movements, were no match for torchic, it kept useing tackle, but made no such luck. "Just finish it" The bird attacked once more, and it was out.
Torchic was happy as it tilted its head up to it's trainer. Victoria nodded in approval as she felt someone come up behind her, torchic looked around her legs, and stood ready.
"I see how strong your pokemon is..Id like to challenge you to a battle, my name is Calvin." Throwing out his pokeball, he called out his pokemon. "Go poocheyena!" Victoria stood ready. This was her first, real trainer battle.

The boy let out his command first, which caught Victoria off guard a bit. She wasn't used to battling trainers, just wild pokemon, so all this was pretty new to her. The boy told his Poochyenna to use tackle, which as the pokemon got closer, Victoria knew this wasn't just some random battle, it's had about as much training as torchic. "Dodge it torchic! And use scratch! Tor!" the pokemon cried out, as the poocheyena barely missed, while starting to turn around, torchic scratched it, hurting the pokemon, but not anything to knock it out, it came back fast, before torchic could move, and tackled it, sending the small bird skidding on the ground. "Get up torchic! And use Focus energy!" Building energy, and not moving, the dog pokemon took it's chance, and struck again, only this time as it started to pull away, it became stronger, from focus energy. "Use scratch once more!" Victoria shouted, and torchic did so, knocking the pokemon out.
Torchic was breathing heavy, and was worn out. Victoria was upset that this was all it could take, but looking back, she was a bit happy, they did alot of battling today, and it had taken a toll on her pokemon, returning it to it's ball, and back into her bag, she went over to the trainer for the reward money. He stood standoff-ish, and didn't want to budge. She held her hand out, and asked only once. "Give me...the money" the last two words, she added extra strength to. He turned his back, and started to walk away, which just infuriated Victoria to no end, slamming her knee, into the back of his leg, she bent backwards, and before he knew it, Victoria knocked him in the face with her elbow. Falling to the ground. After searching his body, Victoria came up with all his money. "Won fair, and square." Was all she said, as she pocketed it, and walked away

Alistair, had watched his partner with envy. She was ruthless, were he was not. He believed to do what ever needed to be done, sure..but he didn't have the savageness she did. She was coming along much farther in their training with pokemon, but Alistair hoped he would get their one day.
The duo, has beat all the trainers in the area, and the wild pokemon were becoming scarce. Looking to his partner, Alistair spoke. "I think we should move on..their doesn't seem to be much reason to stay here any longer. We should get moving, and get our orders in the next town." He awaited her response.

Victoria was surprised at his bluntness, he normally wasn't like this. She looked at her two pokemon, still standing strong, but battle worn. "Alright..lets do it" She said, walking down the road with her pokemon behind her, hands by her side, expecting nothing serious to happen on the trip their.

Garcian felt like he'd been going nowhere for days.
He was wondering around Route 102 half asleep when it hit him. Literally.
Somthing slammed into him, sending sprawling onto his back.
The thing spoke: "Oh my i'm sorry! I wasn't paying attention. You see my Wingull saw somthing and now he won't come back!"
Garcian grumbled and clambered to his feet, placing Hawke back onto his shoulder and correcting his hat.
"I'll help you out if you promise not to slam into me again."
Would you? Oh that would be fantastic! I'll be sure to make it worth you while."
"Is that so? And how would you do that?"
"Free boat rides between Dewport and Slateport."
"Wow, that works. You have a deal my friend." Garcian shook the man's hand and began his search.
Several Minutes Later
Garcian edged along the tree branch towards the sleeping Wingull. Hawke Kendo and the sailor watched intently from below as he got closer.
Suddenly somthing fell loose from the branches above and startled the Wingull awake, it flew directly towards him and bumped him right in the chest before heading down into it's owners arms.
Garcian wobbled side to side, desparately trying to regain his footing on the branch, he barely managed to get stable before he had to jump from the tree.
He landed heavily and almost fell flat.
"Well, that could have been a little more graceful."
"Oh thank you, i'll be sure to keep up my side of the agreement. Come and see me if you ever come through Dewport or Slateport."
The two said goodby and the sailor continued down the path. Garcian turned and considered heading back to see if he could battle something.
