I feel like a loser for posting again so soon redface .
I think I said this before in my other topic, but I don't know if it's because of my depression or what, I just know I tend to get really weak. You wouldn't believe how many times I passed up going to the bathroom because I couldn't stand lol. I can't stand for long amounts of time, either. I nearly fainted in Wal-mart a couple of times! xd I also get short of breath and pains in my body that prevent me from moving well, if at all. On top of all of that, when I get depressed I could do some dangerous things sad .
So back to my question. I've found out that there are service dogs for mental illnesses, but I don't know if I'd qualify for one. In my opinion, I think that my illnesses are debilitating, but others might not think so. Would I be able to get one?

I would guess that your weakness is largely because of your diet. You mentioned in the other thread that you don't get enough calories throughout the day. Not enough calories, dehydration, and poor nutrition can all lead to headaches, fuzzy thinking, tunnel vision, feeling woozy, and passing out. I was a very picky eater when I was little, and I experienced all of those things as a result.
As for whether you would qualify for a service dog, it's tough for us to say. I'd recommend talking to a doctor about it. If one says no, ask another doctor for a second opinion.

Tazari Thanks. I have to go back next week so I'll ask. Even though it still depends on my mom if I get one gonk . You'll never know until you ask. If she or the doctor says no, maybe they will try other treatment options first before they'll let you get a sevice dog.
