Before heading into this, you must first ask yourself, "Am I willing to receive junk mail in my e-mail?" "Am I willing to receive phone calls in my home from telemarketers?" Oh! and "Am I 18?" (If you're not, I'm not sure what measures gaia will eventually take for giving fraudulent information, but I'd hate to see any of our young members being punished in ANY way.
IF you can answer positively to all three questions, then go ahead. First, make an e-mail account you won't mind throwing away...or merely ignoring for a while. This way, you're main e-mail account will not get inundated, and that precious e-mail from long lost aunt so-in-so who wanted to leave her estate to you if you would contact her within 24 hours doesn't get lost in the mess. gonk
Next, realize that this will take a chunk of time. It typically takes me anywhere from 8 to 20 minutes to get through one, depending on how many offers there are to turn down, and how many kids NEED my attention while I'm trying to get through one....or if there's anything else interesting going on, or a phone call etc.
Now--I've already done several, so my personal information is already stored, expect it to take longer (perhaps much longer) the first time you do this.
I'll take some screen shots to show you what to expect......
First you'll probably see the "full page adds" of the highest paying customers to this 'survey' company:

Expect to see these exact same adds at least twice, sometimes three times. I find it easiest just to use my PAGE DOWN button to get straight to the skip option button. Next, you'll see these:

You'll have to go down a whole line of them, selecting "no" for all but ONE. I think of it as you have to volunteer to see at least one 'full page add' for these lesser paying clients. rolleyes but you should always have the option of skipping THEM too! Just because you've consented to SEE their add does NOT mean you have to give them ANY information....wish I'd understood THAT a couple of weeks ago rolleyes

After you've seen it--or even before it finishes loading, just click in the Skip bullet. LATER on in the survey, when you get these types again, you might not be given a bullet--just scroll down and select the"skip" button again! It will then roll up as if it were a scroll and you can go on to the NEXT batch of tiny advertisements to turn down...always remembering you must consent to look at at least one full page one....I ALWAYS skip them though...this theoretically insures fewer spam e-mails....but does not guarantee that. For instance, I just got a phone call from APX security tonight--and I didn't even consent to see their add...let alone ask for more info. Obviously, getgambit sold them my number. rolleyes

It is QUITE boring, and you'll begin to recognize that you're seeing the same adds over and over and over again...but you'll also become quicker, and eventually, from half an hour to an hour of your time will equal a Bundle and a little extra, which on the first day they introduce them, is at LEAST 400k worth. It's a WHOLE lot easier than waiting on the just added page for a miss-price that either a bot, or someone using a work T-line is probably going to beat you to anyway. scream

Sometimes They'll throw slightly different styles of the same adds at you...or make you read a tiny bit instead of going by the pictures. Expect to see this at least once.

Expect to see this at least twice.
I always feel like I'm getting closer to the end when I see these:

You have to say "no" one at a time, but it's a shorter list than the others....you'll have to see more full page adds after this--I skipped 19 with this particular 'survey'.
Always remember to take a screen shot of your Final Steps page---and ALWAYS read the fine print!!!!!! Some of these offers mention you have to click on an offer on that final steps page--I've not done one of those yet, but I assume you'll probably have to either supply them with more personal information, or you'll have to qualify for something...either way--screen shot it...you may need it.

Now! You may notice my "throw away" e-mail address in there. What you're NOT seeing is my physical mailing address and phone number right below it--that's because I went into "decorate" on photobucket and picked "erase". That way, when I turn this in tomorrow by clicking "Problem" I'm not sharing my physical address and phone number with whichever gaiaonline staff member has to comb through the problems! I heartily suggest you guys do the same!
SOME offers do pay instantly...but probably no more than two or even one a day. Past that, they take some amount of time to "process" and you WILL probably have to report them by clicking on "problem" - which since YOU will have your handy dandy screen shotted Final Steps Page is NO WORRY! Just include a link to it once you've saved it to photobucket or someplace--it's worked like a charm for me every single time. 3nodding lol
