So I seriously "just" found out that they re-did the profiles on Gaia. Way to say with it eh? Go me. So yeah I saw that some peoples profiles are really spiffy. Mine however, is lacking. Yup so if any of you G.N.B'ers have and tips and tricks for editing your profile that you wish to share that would be groovy
Simply paste what the override does and what the code is for it ^^;; this wold be much appreciated. I can't remember how your supposed to type in text boxes though... Oh I am a doomed Turtle...

It's a lot of work. I put up a default one for now. XP I don't have time to play with it until after school is over.

You have to know some major CSS to really have fun with it. I, of course, know little to nothing about it personally.
I want to make mine a bit more stylish, but I haven't quite got down what the dimensions are on everything, so I'm still working on that. I also need a theme thats a little more cohesive than "I want some pretty girls and maybe me."
The easiest thing to do is to take an already made layout, and experiment with the overrides until you can work out what relates to what. Most of it is pretty easy to figure out by the code, but some of it is a little tricky...
There are a few threads around Gaia that talk about all the overrides, but www.tektek.org has already made layouts you can mess with. They pretty much list all the overrides you'd need without knowing CSS at all, and then just subsitute the image location for whatever you want to use, and the text colors and you should do fine.
