.::Becoming a Better Roleplayer::. This thread is one to help you either learn the ropes of roleplaying or becoming better at it. In here, there are lists of rules, guidelines, and tips that help you blend in to the roleplay and help it run smoothly. Now, I will have to admit, I'm not so good at coming up with the rules, so a good list of general rules by l e m 0 n - s q u a r e__ here.

.::Rules for Roleplaying::. These rules are pretty serious and depinding on the situation, could end up getting you banned.
1. The moderators are the law in this here town. If they say knock it off, you probably should. 2. NO God-moding. 3. Here are the rules on weapons. 4. Do not kill unless you have the owner of the character's permission and the guild captain's. 5. Do not leave a character(s) alone without notice of leaving. (If your going to be gone, tell the person/people you're posting with)
The captain's rules from her post are here.

.::Guidelines for Roleplaying::. These are less serious. We would prefer if you followed them, but we aren't going to ban you for breaking rule or two.
1. Speak in third person, past tense. 2. When talking out of character, use (( )) or [ ]. 3. When leaving an area, at the end of your post put ((exit/exunt to _____)) or [exit/exunt to _____]. 4. Be at least semi-literate. Three or more sentences is nice. 5. When interacting with another character, wait for a response before posting again. When you have more than one other person you are reacting with, it's curtious to wait for all of them, but depending on the situation, not horribly required.

.::Tips for Roleplaying::. This is a list of ideas that could be used to help you improve your posting skills. This is not at all necessary, and is for your use only.
1. Get into your character. Anything that they see, feel, taste, hear (other than other character's exact words) write it down. Any thing that comes out of their mouth or through thier mind, write it down. The more the better and it helps the other people understand what's going on and why. 2. When creating a character, be specific. This is your character's first impression and the more you put down on its profile, the better. Also, it helps file the character in the rankings and makes it so much easier for me ^^ Plus if you have specific rankings and elements, you have more control over where your character is placed, or else I have to resort to putting it in a random place. 3. When starting out, post your character with others from that element. It helps you see how they use it and can help you figure out your own way that isn't completely out of the ordinary and questionable. If your the first, good luck! You get to create how that element can be used, but just don't do anything too out there unless you can logically explain it.

.::What is God-moding::. This is a complicated subject because it can go from killing others to not ever getting a scratch while fighting. It's simpily taking control of a thread, playing God. It can easily get you banned, unless under consent of the character(s) owner and in some cases, aka killing, the captain. It is also very annoying and can get you on people's bad side quickly. If you question wether it's God-moding or not, don't do it.
The captain's definition of God-moding and other things you shouldn't do here.

.: razz osting::. Although there are many different ways to post, there are correct and incorrect ways to post your character in the roleplay. First off, in this roleplay, we talk in past tense and in third person, like this: Aoide walked up the stairs. Also, as you might have noticed in that example, there are no need for astricks (*like this*) around your actions. It's like writing a book. You just post what your character does and then if they say something you put it in quotations ("like this") and if they think something, you put it in italics (like this). Here's another example: Aoide stood at the base of the building. I can't believe I've been brought back here. She thought to herself, staring at the doors. "Open." She ordered the door. She waited a few moments and then the door started so slowly creek open, a small man behind it.
