One of my favorites is 1999 Shanghai Nen No Shichigatsu - Shanghai by Misushiro Setona. Forgive me if I misspelled that, it was impossible for me to remember. I'm not sure if it has been liscensed states side, but Beautiful Soup has a very nice scanslation of it.

Loveless is another good one, as stated before, but one that wasn't mentioned was Canterella by You Higuri. The art is beautiful, and it's based on Cesare Borgia (a little bit like Kakan No Madonna by Chiyo Saito except with an intense focus on Cesare and Micheletto and their relationship, as well as a strong occult plotline)

Time Lag (forgot the author stressed ) is also a very good yaoi manga.

But I was SO surprised when somebody mentioned Man's Best Friend but nobody else commented on it.

It's one of the cutest/hottest yaoi's out there! Hell, I was surpised the bookstore didn't wrap it up and padlock it it was so steamy! (and by the way, that wrapping is evil. No two ways about it. >.< )

Dog Boy + Cute Boy = hawtness.

And then there's this super-kawaii goldfish bishonen at the end....

And I just realized that if you have never read it, I probably sound like I'm on Pixi Stix and beer. Which I'm not. But still, it's a really good manga tha I HIGHLY recommend. ^-^

I was just at the bookstore and noticed that Princess Princess had been licensed (By DMP? I forget the exact name of the publisher) anyway, its the company that does the nice oversized volumes with dust jackets. I highly suggest getting it, especially if you like boys crossplaying as lolitas.

YES! *glomps* True words of wisdom! And the coolest part (aside from the actual story and art) is that on the cover, if you take off the dust jacket, has a sort of parody on itself: Prince Prince (exact opposite situation of Princess Princess; girls have to dress like boys).

I also highly recommend her sort of prequel to it (it tells the story of Megumi-san, Mikoto's girlfriend), called The Day of Revolution. Absolutely adorable.

Both series are by Mikiyo Tsuda. heart
