Hello, fellow members of the Dueling club! I welcome you all!
For those who don't know, our captain, KatieInTheBox, has resigned her position. Minerva the Bookwyrm posted in the Great Hall that the Dueling Clus was looking for a new captain. I offered to take the spot. So, here I am.
There will be new threads for some of the organization of the club, as I am not a mod and cannot edit posts other than my own. Please be sure that, if I have to copy any old threads that require members to post, please do so.
Also, I am making a new threads for members of the DC, so that we can weed out the non-active members and I can keep track of new members more easily. All members will need to reapply. I am going to message each member with this information. Captains will receive a PM asking if they would like to hold on to their title or give it up. If they choose to give it up or do not respond within a week, I will select new captains.

This announcement is for any new members or members who are confused by the dueling process.
If you can't understand the dueling process by reading the directions or looking over the practice duel, challenge me (ScottieBears MiaKitty) and for the reason for the duel put 'Learning the Ropes' and I'll accept the challenge and walk you through it as we duel.

Alright, I've been having difficulty with this thread, because I discovered that when I change the title of the thread to change the update date, it makes it a normal thread. So, I am now making it the responsibility of members to read the announcements on their own at least once a week, please. I don't want to have to constantly bother Minerva to change it back to an announcement thread. I know she wouldn't mind it that much, but I hate to be a nuisance. So I need all of you to read these on your own.
