Has anyone else heard of this group from England? I just saw them in Ithaca last mon and they are amazing. The male acapella group, with fromer members of the The Kings Choir, Sing a wide range of music, from the renissance to pop, From William Byrd, to Billy Joel, they sing it all, They almost remind me of the Canadian brass (another great group...one of my favorties) of vocal music For those of you havn't heard of them, I reccomend visiting there website.

I reccomend them to all fans of acapllea, such as myself.

I really love the sound of acapella, you know. Think I might check them out.

I'd love to write a vocal fugue. That would be... awesomeness.

Good to see I'm not the only one who loves acapella music.

As for the vocal fugue, I have actualy just recently playing around with the Idea on my computer. Nothing's been too good so far though.

I love the King's Singers. Have you heard "Horizons?" I haven't actually heard a recording of them singing it but I know they recorded it, and I did it with All State chorus one year. Absolutely gorgeous.
I also love Chanticleer - very similar group. If you don't know about them, you should definitely look into them. smile

I may be going to see Chanticleer next week. *crosses fingers* They're coming to a local church. At $20 a ticket, I may drag the boyfriend along. He claims he doesn't like vocal music, but he can never resist a great ensemble.
