by any chance do u know if it will be that same weekend next year? i personally had to leave early cause of the date and a good couple of my friends just couldn't go at all (for me it was because of flippin drama practice). i did like the fact that it was on a saturday though, i know i couldn't even go at the beginning because i had church since the other two were on sundays.

We are looking at making it a 3 day convention if the college will allow us to do so. Chances are it will be in either April or May. We will have a definite date soon.

woah! a three day?! that would be awesome xD
but if were to make it that long, u gotta make sure u have enough stuff planned to be going or else a lot of people won't show up for more then one day.
also, if it is possible to make it a 3-day u definetly need more vendors and once agian, more rooms with things going on in them.
OH, another suggestion, if it does end up being at the collega for sure, why not use the stage in the one area? the one connected to where we had it the second year. that way there is plenty of room and everyone can actually see what's going on, because year 2, half of the people coldn't see what was going on in the skits ._.
One other thing, make sure u have at least a couple well known anime artists or voice actors! they always draw people to cons!

We always have excess planned. The issue this past convention was the city school board cut our rooms and supplies so we had to cut entertainment. By moving to a non-school venue we can do more with the convention than we ever dreamed.
One of the hotels we looked at Vendors would have 1-2 large rooms... a large main stage room and rooms for showings, panels, gaming and other activities. The minute LCCC gives me the go ahead I will be cramming the schedule full of stuff for you guys to enjoy along with the help of my committee. It should be fine outside of the school system's control.

We are still waiting on the college to send the deposit on the hotel to book the dates. I will keep you updated.

I think there should be more entertainment for the convention b/c there wasn't much to do really the only thing you could do was only watch anime episodes to get more people to conventions you have to have more dealers popular ones to be exact and voice actors especially ones from bleach ^^ plus for the place your having it at isn't so far away
