That's me, and I'd like to be able to make guild-wide announcements through PM, but that takes a lot of time without having you all on my friendslist. I promise that you will never receive spam or other unnecessary PMs from me, and never any personal messages. My power will only be used for good and only once a month or so at the most. Mostly, I will use PMs to let you know about monthly contests or events or anything earth-shattering, like if the captain died or something. Official guild business only. Okay? surprised If you leave the guild, you can un-friend me, or I will do so myself.
You don't have to do this; it is not required. But it would be most helpful. I look forward to being your very quiet friend. Thank you.

This isn't really necessary anymore since they implemented the guild announcement thing. I still prefer PMs from the guild mule, but the sticky is just unnecessary clutter now.
