Spirit:In a time where the economy had all but died (no, not present day. ) and most Americans were trying to survive from day to day, there were some who were fortunate enough to be in possession of a great deal of money. A local beauty, Cindy could have been out helping the poor, or at the very least, being conservative about how she spent. However, her vanity was unmatched by anyone around. On one particularly fateful afternoon, she returned to her and her lovers apartment after having purchased a very large, very ornate mirror. The two muscled men carried it up to her 15th floor luxury apartment, as she stopped on the ground level to recheck her hair in the lobby's mirror. The men circled the stairs, and just as they reached the last set, one man's hand slipped, and the mirror dropped over the side of the stairs. It fell fast, banging the side, the mirror shattering into large and small shards. Far to absorbed in her own beauty, she failed to hear the cries around her, as the mirror fragments embedded into her body, and finally the heavy frame of the mirror landed with a thud on top of her.
