Incredible Man-Lover

PostPosted: Fri Jul 03, 2009 6:05 am

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen!
You may call me Nido and I will be your host/hostess this morning/afternoon/evening

Now you and I~ We, have all gathered here for something. That something would be, roleplay. We all want it, some of us need it, but sadly, not all of us have it.

It's a sad and terrible thing... Now, I have it, but I would like more of it! So, ladies and gentlemen, I politely ask you to scroll on down and view my rules, and random pieces of instruction! Thank you!

~Nido

Rules

~ Please be literate and by this I mean know how to write with proper English grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. And more than one or two lines please. A paragraph, two paragraphs minimum please! (considering where I am, this shouldn't be a problem!)

~ I like to roleplay yaoi or yuri. Not so big on hetero, but if you can convince me (and I mean you need to have a thought out plot, can play well and have a damn good character, male or female I don't care, then I may give in.)
Or I don't mind if it's in a much larger roleplay with a whole bunch of characters!

~ Keep in mind I have a life! I cannot RP 24/7! I will always tell you if I have to leave for an extended period of time and when I will return! I expect the same courtesy!
I also will not tolerate someone getting angry with me BECAUSE I cannot roleplay 24/7.
Roleplaying is something I do for fun, if you make me feel as though it's something I HAVE to do, it's no longer fun and I will not roleplay with you any longer.

~ READ EVERYTHING!

~ I will ask for a sample post. I've had some serious flop roleplays recently and I wanna see if you're as good as you claim to be, before the process of plotting! If you don't give me a sample post, I will not play with you! And don't be giving me a link to go look somewhere, I won't click it and we won't play. Just whip up a quick post for me, you're supposed to be a roleplayer, that should be easy enough for you to do!

Additional Notes

I have many ideas and plots! I just choose to not place them for the public to see! Feel free to ask to hear any of ideas, but please also come prepared with your own so that we might combine them and have ourselves a fantastic roleplay!

PMs or threads are perfectly fine with me! Whichever you prefer!

Romance is NOT necessary! I like just a simple adventure roleplay too! Romance is NOT a must!

If you wish to play make the title of your PM 'Treasure Sword'

Sample post of my own

This is from a Chrono Trigger Roleplay I have.

Cold crimson eyes moved quickly across the map, eying each marking and committing it to memory. A war against the Humans to bring dominating power to the Mystics? Magus nearly snorted and turned away from the battle plans, but stilled himself and instead narrowed his eyes.
He truly had no care for the humans and the mystics petty quarrels with them, but then… A war was the perfect opportunity to test himself; the perfect chance to test his power; increase it even! Not to mention the humans were no better than those filthy creatures living upon the snow covered plains from his past. Powerless, weak and pitiful they were, clinging to his sisters skirts with their dirty hands and pathetic little pleas.

“Bah!” Turning around, Magus moodily crossed his arms and leaned back against the table. He had no care for any foolish visions of grandeur in this time period. Behind him, Ozzie prattled on and much like a rebellious son might do, Magus rolled his eyes and had all but tuned the other out. Until the older mystic mentioned something about a temple.
Turning slowly back around, arms still crossed, Magus eyed the plans once again. He had been denied his Princely right back home, the people and his mother having taken more concern with immortality and Lavos then anything else, never mind that he was supposed to one day be King.

Lifting an eyebrow, the young wizard reached out to touch the plans again, they were crude in some cases, but well thought out. Clearly Ozzie had been planning this rampage for awhile now. Was this the answer? By using this war, could he get the royal treatment fate had denied him? And grow in power at the same time? So that he might one day avenge his mother driven insane by Lavos and his sister, likely killed? Was this a chance to reclaim his life?

“…Have you set these plans in motion yet? Or are they merely ideas you’ve scribbled down on paper?” He asked finally, wondering if there was a place for him in this madness. He stared intensely at the plans, as though his eyes might simply light them on fire much the same as the candles in the corner. But there was little risk of that happening. Things didn’t happen unless Magus wanted them to.
In a quick motion, he flung his arm back, eyes not leaving the paper and behind them, as though hit with a powerful gust, the door flew open, knocking the hapless Hench who’d been trying to listen at the door against the far wall.

Winded, startled, and now very sore the mystic lay crumpled at the bottom of the wall for a moment, wondering what had just happened before starting to pick himself up.

“Nn… Ne…” Coughing and setting a hand to his ribs, noting the way his armour now dug into his back that it was likely heavily dented. “News… Lo..Lord Ozzie.” He gasped out, waddling slowly into the room.

“Then deliver it.” Magus snapped, moving to stand slightly behind Ozzie, glowering at the Hench. “Don’t stand about listening at keyholes.” Crossing his arms, the young wizard glared moodily at the floor. He wasn’t King yet.

“The… The cathedral has… Successfully been infiltrated.” The Hench finally managed to spit out.

Glenn gave a dismal sigh at Cyrus’s statement about the mystics. It was true. They were a very territorial bunch and probably wouldn’t see his harmless exploring as ‘harmless’. Especially with him being a knight’s squire. They’d likely see it as some sort of threat, which of course made any such exploration too risky to even try.
The mystics were weird. With their odd skins, strange shapes, some even had wings! Or so he’d been told. Many of them possessed strange powers; magic’s of some kind. Turning water into wine and calling storms upon the hapless and the weak. Whether or not these rumours were true, he did not know. After all they were just rumours and the mystics were quite guarded about their information and, well anything pertaining to them. They were as Cyrus said, an ‘All or Nothing’ bunch.

Lost in his musings, Glenn blinked when Cyrus suddenly darted forward past him, his horse quickly gaining distance.

“Wh.. Hey!” Spurring his own horse onward, Glenn grinned and gripped the reigns tightly. Tapping his horse into a quick gallop he caught up to Cyrus and glanced at him with a competitive grin as town began to appear out of the mist. Already there was one lady, shaking out her rugs. Another woman sending her children out to fetch water from the town well.
It was pleasing to see that all seemed right with the town at first glance, that there were no clear and obvious problems plaguing the simple folk.

Soon the tavern came into view and Glenn tapped his horse a little harder, but to no avail, Cyrus pulled ahead of him and laughing, the green haired man fell behind.

“You win Cyrus!” He exclaimed as he trotted up to the tavern after the Knight, running a hand through his hair. “Beowolf might be getting fat, but he can still outdistance just about anyone.” Grinning, at the knight and then over to the stable boy coming to take care of their horses for them while they breakfasted.

It was good to know Cyrus was still jovial, despite the dark, occupied look he wore on his face these days. Though he tried so hard to hide it, Glenn saw it daily. There was little that escaped the squires attention, especially when it came to Cyrus, the man he considered closer than even family. He only hoped the knight would confide in him, tell him that which plagued his mind of late. He liked to think Cyrus trusted him enough to do that and though he wanted to ask, he would wait. Wait for when the knight was ready to speak his mind be it today, tomorrow or days from now.
