Alias'/Nicknames: He is mostly called Hiso-chan around the base because of his short stature and the age difference between him and other Pirates. Hiso insists people call him Hisoka, but they don't pay much attention to him
Appearance: Hiso, age 16, stands at 5'7", and has very light blue eyes in contrast to his brother's deep green eyes. He weighs in at about 130 pounds or so in one times gravity, the amount of G's it is on Base. He has a somewhat pale complexion, which has been with him all of his life. Unlike his brother, Hiso is not a very flamboyant dresser and normally just wears a gray hoody with a giant X splattered across the chest to make it look like paint, and a pair of dark blue jeans. His footwear consists of a dark blue pair of converse that have some ware and tear to them, black marks on the side and such. Hiso has never really had time to replace his shoes since becoming a Space Pirate, but he feels that they will last him a bit longer. His jeans hang a little lower on his waste due to not having a belt, but he has gotten used to it over the years. The only main similarity you could draw between Hiso and his twin brother are the fact that their hair is almost identical. Both have a silver tint to their hair and it hangs just a small bit below his eyes. It is a very rugged style of hair and that is mainly what he likes about it.
Personality: Hiso is a very conservative person at first sight, but if you approach him you can tell immediately that he is rather hyper. He is eager to meet new people and go places most of the time, but he also knows when the time to be serious is. When issues concerning the safety of his brother come up, Hiso is not afraid to fight for what he believes in. He can be very aggressive when he feels threatened and is quite blunt about things. He feels that the only way to get someone to do something is to be forward about it, and tell them what they need to hear. In battle, he always likes to have fun, whether that means playing simple pranks on his opponent or making a fool of them.

Guitar/Bass Guitar: Hiso's guitar is rather unique in the fact that it is the same model as his brother's but instead of it being a regular guitar, it is a 4 string-bass. His weapons of choice happens to be the B C Rich Beast Bass guitar, an instrument with a very unique body and headstock to it. The body and headstock styles are one of a kind and carry the name beast. Truth be told, Hiso finds his bass guitar to be utterly repulsive and only uses it when he is needed to. Despite this, he makes sure that his guitar is in tune before every battle because, being the superstitious person he is, Hiso feels it causes him to fight better. The bass's body itself is made of Nato, an eastern mahogany, the fretboard, with 24 jumbo frets, is made of ebony, and the neck is made of maple wood. Chie sports two B C Rich Beast P Style Pickups and four controls; one for the master volume, bass, treble, and blending. Hiso very rarely plays the bass guitar in his free time, but many people on base always ask him to. He has been called a genius at both playing the guitar and also at fighting with a guitar. The only reason that he does not play his bass guitar more often is the fact that he fines the tone of the bass very unhappy and monotonous. Normally he can be seen carrying Chie on his back with the headstock facing upward. When Ara and Hiso begin to play on they're guitars, the dulcet tones carry, stunning any enemy who happens to hear it within a 20 meter radius
Special Accessories: Hiso does not sport any significantly special accessories except for the first and only pick he has ever had, which he wears on a necklace. This pick was given to him by his brother whenever both of them learned about their N.O. Powers and received their guitars.
Background History: Growing up, Hiso was always happy to have another brother that he could be with, but was never sure if his brother Ara felt the same way towards him. He would always jump around as a child and was extremely talkative to the point that it got annoying. They grew up not really having to do much around the house because their parents were able to work through the depression, but it still was very difficult. Hiso was always a fantastic student in school and always made sure to have fun while still getting the highest marks possible. He was the one in the family that ate like no other. The best part of the day for him would be coming home for dinner.
About 97 years after Haruko and Naota left for space, there came a time of great depression. The city of Mabase was perishing and the economy was depleting. Hiso had always dreamed of leaving this town, but never felt he would have the opportunity to do so. Not long after the depression peaked out, a large band of elite Space Pirates came down to Mabase in the middle of the night, ransacking everything in the town. Houses were torn down, innocent people were killed, the only words they spoke to the villagers were “Where the hell is Atomsk?!” When they came upon Hiso and Arra’s house, the twins, age 13, hid under their bed as they watched the Pirates slaughter their family. They busted into the brother’s rooms next and immediately dragged Hiso out from under the bed by his neck. His throat was being crushed and right then and there is where he first opened an N.O. Portal in his head. A large lump accompanied by a blue light appeared on Hiso’s forehead as the pirate threw him to the ground out of confusion as to what was happening. With all of his might, he grabbed a hold of the protruding lump and pulled it out of his head to reveal it was his guitar, Chie. As Arra watched his brother being thrown to the ground, many emotions began to swell inside of him. Fear, confusion and anger swirled around inside him until the connection between his left and right brain was established, creating his N.O. portal. The pirates did not fight back because they had never seen a human be able to open an N.O. Portal. A lump appeared on his head accompanied by a black light with red tinges. He reached up and grasped the light which formed into the neck of his guitar and yanked it out of his head, not caring about the pain only on his brother's safety. Staring at his guitar blankly, he did the only thing he could do; try to fight back. He tried to fight the space pirates but was quickly thrown aside, landing next to his brother. They offered for Hiso and his brother to join the Space Pirates, and Hiso gladly accepted, but his brother was reluctant to do so and Hiso had to persuade him to come along. The brothers then went along with the Space Pirates once they left and helped in their quest for Atomsk.
