I think my 16 month old son has hayfever.
It wouldn't be surprising if he does. Both my sister and I have it, as well as somone in my fiancee's family.
I'm not 100% sure if that's what he has, but his nose was runny all day yesterday and so far today ... and it woke him up an hour early this morning. He also has watery eyes, another part of hayfever.
If anyone has a child with hayfever (or more specifically, a toddler) any advice would be appreciated. He hates when I try to wipe his nose (of course), and the poor guy is miserable. Is there anything I can give him to make him feel better? Do they make allergy/hayfever medications for kids that young? I gave him Baby Tylenol this morning (it fixes so many things), but it doesn't seem to have helped at all.
I don't want to call the doctor just yet, because it's so hard to get in last-minute, so I'm asking for advice everywhere first. Hopefully someone can offer me some help!
Thanks!

Chat, does your ped's office have a nurse line that you can call with questions like these? I'm really hesistent to recommend medicine for small children and that's something you'd need to call them for anyway to get dosing information.
I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's all I'm comfortable with telling you.
