"I do, actually." He gave her a smirk, nudging the orb that held Ceros. The orb seemed to warm up further at his touch. A slight crackling was heard, almost like the fine tinkling of glass cracking.

"Do you hear that?" He furrowed his brows, straining to listen.

"Sometimes you are," the blue-haired mare mumbled. She hated admitting that he was, in fact, so damn adorable and regal and made her little pony heart beat right out of her chest.

She lifted her muzzle up when the sound hit her ears, despite how faint it was. "Yes, I did." Mercury's expression was slightly confused, as though she didn't know what was happening.

Slowly, the other orbs began following suit, many of them rolling on their own as little cracks began forming in their glassy surfaces.

"Oh my lord... they're coming! Plum! What do we do?!"

"We stay calm! We stay calm!" He was on his feet, looking around at all of the orbs. He watched as the two beside him began to crack a bit faster, small sounds coming from within. A million thoughts zoomed through his mind. Was he really ready for this?

Too late to consider that now as a tiny hoof broke free of one of the orbs, pawing at the grass to try and gain footing. "Look," He gasped softly, peering a bit closer as the pony within tried to break free.

"You're not staying calm! You're yelling! You're freaking me out!" She was on her feet as quickly as he. There was nothing like the rush of birth to make such a stoic mare and a regal stallion lose their collective cool.

She thought she was going to vomit her lunch of grass and dandelions when she saw that hoof break out. What if she was a bad mother? What if the babies cried all night and got sick and and and... crap!

As much as she would have loved to continue freaking out, those babies were not going to wait for her to relax. The tiny hoof belonged to Metaria, who tried with all her might to break the rest of the way free. Kunzite followed in suit, his little mewls starting as nothing more than a snippet of sound until they were loud enough to be heard.

"I'm freaking you out?! You're freaking me out!" He gasped, his head darting from side to side as if looking for help. "I'm about to be a father!" As if she didn't know that already. He was normal calm, cool, reserved, collected. But right now? He was freaking the heck out as two baby ponies rolled free from their orbs.

There were more cracking sounds as Kaitos and Ceros rolled free as well and began to make small sounds. They looked about, very disoriented and confused by what was going on. Where were there? Why weren't they warm and safe in their orbs anymore? Who were this big creatures staring down at them?!
