Well, in one week as of this writing I"ll be turning 24.
Um, yay?
Sorry if I seem cynical. Just the past several birthdays have sucked a**.

I hit 21 back in April, and it was probably the last "fun" birthday I'll have until I retire (er, IF I retire...). All the good milestone birthdays are now behind me, unless you count 25 for the "cheap car rental" thing, which doesn't apply to me right now, but Hopefully I will have a driver's license 4 years from now. gonk
Well, happy early birthday! Try not to be all bummed out. Do something cheap and reckless, that seems to cheer up a lot of people. xd What is it 24 year-olds do these days anyway?

Don't be so sad about it. Go out and have fun. I keep hearing about how everyone after 21 hates their birthdays. Do something about it! Go to a bar! Hit up a club! Get plastered with friends. Go bowling, anything. If your actual birthday is on a weekday, go out the weekend before or after. The only thing keeping you from having a good time is yourself.

~:Miyavi Kurizawa:~ for serious. As long as your happy, who cares what else happens. If you want, I'll just jump out of a cake, then eat the cake. Pour you a drink, and then leave with your wallet. 3nodding

It's hard to be happy when the previous year, on the day before, my heart was shattered.

Well, look at it this way, this year can't possibly be as bad as last year. (Knock on wood.)
I'll probably say this tomorrow too, but happy birthday!

Look at it this way, you survived the last 23 years of your life, you should be able to survive at least a little longer.
