Okay, I get a kill or I get killed, the game freezes and, I'm going to use my last experience as an example, I got killed my guy went "ga-" then it froze and kept going "GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA GA" Over and over, I lowered the settings, I have 3gb of ram, I have no idea why it's doing this. Whenever I try and change the settings to, it freezes and sounds like a CD is skipping, just repeating one sound over and over. I try and change the screen resolution, after it freezes when I click apply, I close it with Task manager and start it up again, the Valve and Source credits at the beginning match the new resolution but when the game menu comes up its normal size.
Any Help will be greatly appreciate, since I do not know any terms beyond "game freeze" I cant exactly find anything about it in any help forums on any other site.
