"I-I bet it's fantastic," Anont said, dreaming on the idea a little bit. From the way he'd seen E'si's face brighten when he'd gotten Miith... it was an idea that still made his stomach flutter. Besides, who wouldn't want a friend like that? A soul mate, in some sense of the word- someone you shared everything with. It was, in his mind, the most beautiful thing he could imagine.
When P'ree spoke again, of always being aware of Iawanth, Anont could only nod dumbly. That.. that was exactly what he was dreaming of. It was nice, he would admit, that the senior rider understood- and seemed to share- his idealistic feelings on Impression. He could feel himself slipping into yet another daydream of the idea, when P'ree started speaking again.
"Oh Faranth, yes. I'm really worried about them, still." He spoke quietly, shaking his head. "I... I'm worried there's going to be injured candidates, again. Or unhatched dragonets. You know?" Anont asked sadly, not wanting to think about such a thing.
"Even if it's not with me, they all deserve to be healthy and happy. I wouldn't want to take that from ANY dragon."

P'ree listened and nodded, he like anyone else with a dragon did not know exactly how to explain the sensations that came with impressing and living their lives with a partner in crime all of the time. P'ree loved Iawanth like he could never love another, and was positive that all riders felt this way.
He nodded knowing exactly how Anont felt, it would be a shame for the eggs to go unhatched or for an injured dragon to hatch. "The Queen's anger has been upsetting many of the dragons...you walked in on me trying to reassure Iawanth that nothing would happen to those eggs. I hope there is a Touching, it's supposed to stop the mauling of candidates."
They will be healthy, or that candidate will be...well I don't know, but something bad will happen to them. Iawanth spoke sternly into P'ree's mind. Mine, we are supposed to meet one of your friends near the beach, you told me to remind you.
Oh, so I did, P'ree was hopeless if he could not remember something and having a dragon remind him was just as bad, they did not always remember.
"Iawanth has reminded me that we are supposed to meet some friends, we'll have to go..." he paused, "it was nice meeting you, we'll probably see you again."
See you, Iawanth's voice whispered somewhat meekly into Anont's mind. The blue was on his way back from the feeding grounds, he was peculiarly clean for a dagon. P'ree noted this and assumed Iawanth had not gone to feed at all, but was getting out of the way.

"I... let's hope for the best," he spoke gently, the raw excitement he'd previously had quelling to a more quiet confidence. He was worried, but- everyone else was, he supposed. Even the older riders had their qualms with the upcoming hatching. Hopefully, though, everything would be going will- the riders had good heads on their shoulders, it seemed, so it was likely to be well. And on top of that, he had P'ree and Iawanth rooting for him, now. Allowing a small smile to pass, he nodded when P'ree spoke of his prior engagements.
"That's alright," he spoke gently, too pleased with this meeting to be upset in the slightest. Anont fumbled for a moment on something more to say- a thank you for the well wishes and encouragement- but nothing seemed to come to mind. Biting his lip a moment, he was entirely shocked when Iawanth's voice touched his mind once more.
See you. He couldn't help but grin once more at the feeling, and raised a hand to wave- less awkwardly this time, he'd note with some pride.
"Yeah. See you." Turning to head out, to let P'ree have a moment with Iawanth before their next meeting, Anont radiated excitement and happiness. Just when he was partially gone, he paused, turning back once more.
"A-and thank you for the kind words! It, uhm. It means a lot!"
