This simple phrase soothes the spirits of scared little children and aids them in their sleep, helping them to avoid the fear of untold horrors lurking underneath the very surface they lay on.

"Your nightmares are not real. They are all in your head..."
In your head. The most dangerous place for a nightmare to be. "They" say your dreams are not real. "They" say your nightmares cannot hurt you. "They" are about to find that their theories are wrong. Horribly wrong. For they are not at all prepared for the three poor, young souls who would soon become prisoners in their own minds, scared and alone in their dreams... and their nightmares.
On a cold and snowy December night, two young children and one teenager fell into comas at 2:14 AM. The strangest part is that these three young people each fell into their comas at the exact same time, not a nanosecond later or sooner. No doctor knows what could have possibly caused these three mysterious cases. All they know is that the children seem to be dreaming...
As a desperate last resort, the doctors began to hire skilled psychics and hypnotists, the finest in the area. These brilliant minds attempted to enter the dreams of the children through a mind link, only to enter comas themselves. During an investigation by medical detectives, one of the lead doctors recalled that, before one of the hypnotists went into the eternal sleep, she was rambling on about a siren that rode on ribbons of pink... Of course, this was passed as a ludicrous side effect of the trauma gained from the mind link.
The three children (and the many hypnotists who went into comas after failing the mind link) are currently on life support in the hospital. For how long will they be trapped in their own dreams? Will they survive? Only time will tell...

 1.
Follow Gaia's rules.
Excessive swearing, flaming or any explicit sexual content such as cybering will be reported immediately. We are all here to have fun, and do not need jerks to ruin it for everybody. If you just plan to be a nuisance, I ask that you take it somewhere else. Violators get one warning. Failure to comply to the rules after the warning will result in immediate expulsion from this Roleplay.
2.
No godmodding.
Godmodding, the act of "playing God" with your character, is frowned upon, here at Acrocity. Godmodders make their characters flawless in every way, causing them to become stiff and boring to roleplay with. Godmodding examples include, but are not limited to; invincibility, godly evasion, omniknowledge, perfect accuracy, etc.
3.
NO JAPAN.
I cannot stress this enough. Acrocity is an English RP, and therefore, must be English. If you, the RPer, intended to bring your painful Japanese fangirlism to this RP, I ask that you take it somewhere else. Any samurai, people with Japanese names or "Nekos" will be rejected with hesitation. I am not being racist here, I am merely trying to keep dignity alive in the roleplaying community.
4.
Be active and be literate.
Posts in all capital letters or "text speak" will not be tolerated. Inactive RPers will receive a PM from me reminding them to post. After that, I will remove their character from the profile section and store it in my archives, in case the RPer returns. If you are going to be absent for an extended period of time, you must inform me with how long you plan to be gone, and who will inherit control of your characters until you return.
5.
If you'd like to join...
You must follow these rules exactly. Anyone wishing to join must send me a PM titled "Midnight Wishes" including a fully filled-out character skeleton. If your PM is not titled the mentioned name, it will be ignored. You have been warned.
MASTER RULE
I, Kaye - Yours Truly, am the administrator. My word takes prominence over all others in Acrocity. Repetitive failure to comply to these rules will result in immediate expulsion from this Roleplay at my discretion.
