I think that's a good idea for when you know you're going to be away, but remember that we want to make the house point system work so that a certain amount of tenacity is needed to pull ahead. It's not meant to truly penalize anyone, but just to keep the points from being too easy to earn. I think that, contrary to my earlier statement, no housepoints would be deducted for not posting, but none would be added. So people who are away get out of jail free, but people who don't post at least once in three days are inspired to make at least one contribution.

Mm... That's very true, but I'm wondering if we should take away the House Point system...
Right now, I want to strip this guild to the bare bones and start over. Anything too complicated at the start-off coudl turn out badly... Right now, crack down on crew member activity, have crew crack down on member activity, and then figure out when to start the roleplay again.

When do you think the roleplay will start again? There isn't much incentive for people to be active if the school is on hiatus. I'm sure you'll see a boost in player activity once it's started again. I know I'm very much looking forward to that.

The House Point system is a handful and can get difficult to keep up with, believe me.
So I agree entirely with taking it away. We can barinstorm something simpler to replace it with.
I also love Ikamarus Member Preoccupation idea. Because though everyone here loves roleplaying, it is highly unrealistic to forget that our members have lives outside of the virtual world. Or to punish them for having said lives... well, I don't agree with that idea. Of course we want the guild to be active, but we must also be understanding.
I have updated the Character Lists in the Character Profile Subforum.
Well, mostly-updated it. I still need to add the newest profiles, but I'll do that later.

Okay, the Character Lists in the Character Profile Subforum is completely updated.
All previous years have been bumped to the next grade level.
And all new Characters have been placed in their grade.
What I wont bother to do though is go to each of the old RPC threads and updated their titles to the correct grade level. There are just too many to even think about doing it. SO if you need to know who is in what grade, Simply refer to this thread.

I just noticed the upgrade of characters so thanks for that, now I know my new character has been accepted. My issue is what Ikamaru said a few posts back which I'm sure you guys resolved right now. I haven't been on Gaia in the last month or so considering that I've been working, taking martial arts classes, and getting ready for a new semester at college. Usually you guys know that I'm an active member but there will be times I disappear. Even though it fits my characters personality to get into trouble, I would appreciate if someone can notify me through my personal email when we are getting started. I don't want to miss out on any of the fun.

No problem, it's completely understandable that Real Life takes number one priority. And as everyone's lives are starting to pick up, I (personally) don't agree with the having posting requirements for the members. Another way to stir activity would be good, but 'punishments' for not posting often enough, well, I don't stand by.
I will inform you when Rose has decided to start the new Hogwarts Year.
I've been updating the Quidditch, Class Schedule, Character Lists and such till the new year begins.... which I think Rose said would be in late September.
How often I get online after Sept 20th depends on my college schedule and how much internet connection I get in my dorms :'3
